- When we were born again, we became children of God. As our Father, He intends for us to grow spiritually all the days of our lives.
In this message, Dr. Stanley tells us that it was predetermined that we would be saved to grow and conform to the likeness of Jesus Christ. As believers, if we don’t grow, there’s something wrong with us. Dr. Stanley teaches us how to judge, test, and gauge our growth as Christians. He also explains how we can change our conversations, our conduct, and our character.
A sanctified life is a life that is continually growing in holiness, righteousness, and obedience to God. Are you growing in your Christian life?

Please pray for my 73yo mother. She's always claimed to believe but doesn't possess the fruits of the Spirit. She has "head knowledge but not heart knowledge". She's a narcissist and an alcoholic and descending quickly into dementia. She blames my dad for everything. For decades if you confront her she "never said that, never did that...that never happened". She cannot self reflect or listen to anyone. She's pushed all her children away but blames my dad for "talking about her" and claims he has alienated everyone from her. She's said and done things to all of us to create this distance. I can only see her if it's a family event or emergency. Seeing her makes me suicidal for weeks or longer. When I'm "no contact" with her my mental health is so much better. It's torture to be mourning someone who is still walking around and breathing. It's torture being afraid she will go to hell. I can't tell her anything, I've tried every way being led by the spirit and her heart is hard to what she sees as "preaching" even though she claims to believe. She doesn't welcome biblical knowledge or teaching. Please please pray she will find peace and joy in Jesus. She isn't content with anything and complains constantly, blaming my dad for her lack of joy happiness and peace. She breaks my heart.
I will pray for you and your mother and the entire situation. 🙏💜🙏

Hallelujah!!! I can humbly say “I have matured in my walk and relationship with my Trinity Team.” Even still I remain under construction daily as I am still learning my assignments, enduring my adversaries in grace, quickly repenting when I error and so grateful to know my identity is not of my father, mother or family DNA, but of God (Abba, Alpha, Omega), Christ Jesus (His blood) and the Holy Spirit (Confidant, Comforter, GPS).
Yes, my outside features and countless actions resembles my father, mother and family DNA but it as al(ways) been ab(out) what GOD has and continues to instill within me that matters. I live, walk and talk with humility, grace, Godfidence and boldness.
My identity matters and so does my growth in loving my Trinity Team daily. I shine because of Their Light that lives within me. Moving forward at Godspeed even if it doesn’t fit anyone’s narrative.

Before getting married and having four beautiful children, I missed the time I spent with God alone. Everything feels so loud and rushed in this season of life. I’m looking forward to becoming an old man that sits in the rocking chair with his Bible and drinking coffee 😂
I am struggling with panic attacks and agoraphobia. I've seen a psychiatrist and he's given me an antidepressant to take because he thinks I'm depressed and have GAD and panic disorder. I know my answer is to trust the Lord. I've prayed to God to help me. The problem is, I don't know if His answer is to go ahead and take the medicine or not? How do we know when something is put into our lives to help us or hurt us? I'm so confused on what to do. Please pray for me!
I also struggle with anxiety. Tell Satan you will not give in. It's a powerful mind thing and so hard to overcome. Prayers for you
Pray for God to give you wisdom and direction. Perhaps you can see a Christian Counselor to see where the agoraphobia is rooted from. I will pray for you sister, stay strong in our Lord and Savior. He will never leave you or forsake you.
I have dealt with severe anxiety and was directed by a Minister, who I trust as being led by God, to speak affirmations from God's Word over my life EVERY DAY, sometimes more than once a day. This has had a tremendous effect on my anxiety as I entrust my whole being to God using His Word to fight the enemy just as He did in the wilderness. There is absolutely NO replacement for God's Word in our fight against a determined, formidable enemy. Please grab ahold of God's Word, remind Him of His promises ... and remind the enemy that you have The Host of Army Angels on your side and He is not intimidated by anything the enemy has in his arsenal. Speak the Armor of God over yourself every day (Ephesians) ... we need to be fully dressed for battle every minute & show the enemy we are confident in our Defender and God!!
Exodus 14:14 - God will fight for you, you need only to stand still, and hold your peace!!!
Start tracking what you are eating ...increasing certain vitamins help mine...vit d and magneisum are big ones...keep praying and research your dietneeds

Charles Stanley was like a modern-day Charles Spurgeon, for example, where he talks about us growing as believers "in our conduct, character, and conversation" that's pure Spurgeon. Amazing.
What a great message. It wouldn't surprise me if Dr. Charles Stanley is preaching in heaven. Praise God for Dr. Stanley's service and self sacrifice.
God is so good. This man is preaching from the very depths of his soul. God is truly using this pastor as an instrument to communicate his word affectionately and effectively. May he rest in God's glory.

God loves us so much and wants to be first in our lives.
Now that I'm retired and old, I am able to focus more on God and not the things in this world. This world is passing away, but God is forever.
We are all guilty of putting people and things above God. That is idolatry. We are in the world, but not of it. One Scripture that I keep going back to that reminds me to keep God first always is Hosea 13:5-6. It reads - I knew you in the wilderness, In the land of great drought. When they had pasture, they were filled; They were filled and their heart was exalted; Therefore they forgot Me.
I can't read that Scripture without crying. It can sometimes be so easy to allow the busyness of life to pull us away from God. Anything that we put ahead of God is idolatry. Put Him first always - both in good and bad times. He loves us so much!

I smoke 😢. This is keeping me from growing 😢. Pray for me , I am a Christian and I’m struggling with this sin. I need prayer to help me Stop. I started going through a bad divorce, many years ago. I feel that I’m using it still for a crutch.
Stop because I smoked all my life mostly, now Dr says I have emphazema.
It’s not a sin. It’s a bad unhealthy habit. There is only one thing that you need to do to be saved, and it’s not quitting smoking. It it belief that the sacred, innocent blood and the suffering of Jesus of Nazareth offered on the cross by the Grace of God the father, is sufficient to save your soul. The Holy Spirit will help you quit smoking if you ask it in the name, and by the power of Christs precious blood.
Heavenly Father give Carol strength to give up smoking for the sake of her health. Give her the strength to let go of this very unhealthy crutch that is holding her back from moving forward in her life. Amen and 🙏. God bless you today and always 🙋🏻♀️🙏📖🐑🩷🕊
