I always love your videos and look forward to them every week, and I wouldn’t mind if they were daily either. Today you carefully gave us explanations on why you do what you do to create a beautiful item and what you used to get there. So often people instruct but don’t tell you what to use or how to use certain products and why. Between waxes, lacquers, glues, sand or not to sand, spray paint or brush, etc. it gets confusing to the novice. And there’s never an issue with the camera angle so you can see everything correctly. Keep up the great videos and I’ll be a lifetime subscriber!

Love everything! and that teapot! Adore! You may already know this trick but I fussy cut notches around my transfer designs when I need to apply them to curves--kind of like you would when you're sewing curves, like on a Christmas stocking stocking or a round pillow...you cut notches around your hemline close as you can to help stitch around the curves so they give a little and not kink and buckle. It helps with the transfers on curves, too. love your videos Becky. You are so good at it. 😊😊🌷🌷

@@kindashabby I don't know if you remember, but I told you awhile back ,I shattered my femur back in September and it resulted in a surgery with plates and pins. I won't be able to put full weight on it until this September. As I remained immobile, I started watching your channel. I became so excited seeing your projects, I started planning which ones I would start once I could walk again, so I started ordering craft supplies. My poor husband is unloading a box every other day. Well, 6 1/2 months later, I'm starting to walk with the use of a walker. It's hard but I'm organizing my craft room setting it up for my projects. Thanks for giving so many beautiful ideas. I'm going to paint my rolltop desk in my craft room, when I'm fully healed, the color of the door you out a transfer on so if you wouldn't mind telling me what's the paint color and manufacturer? Hi Jessie! A curved surface definitely takes more time, but it is so worth it. I just made snips in the edges of the grid to help the transfer lay flat as I was working with it. You could cut about a 1/4 inch around your entire transfer to make it more manageable too. Happy Crafting and thank you so much for watching!

Dear Becky thanks so mutch for yours great ideas. All is very shabby and I love this! I make also roses with wide painter`s tape cream. Is adhesive therefore fold in the middle, then roll up and give glue from time to time and do not roll up to tightly. Grettings from Jrène

Toni, I was so impressed with the transfers! They applied beautifully to each material I used them on. The only thing I forgot, was to seal each transfer with wax, and not just the one on the syrup bottle. I think I did alright for my first attempt! 😀

Thank you so Jody! I know it’s hit or miss finding them, but I pick up a few when I see them. I normally purchase crafting supplies that are reusable instead of one-time use like the transfers. But I was truly impressed with how pretty these transfer images are. I think you would enjoy working with them too.
These are very amazing projects! Each one as beautiful as the next. 💗 I absolutely love rub on transfers! This past year I've found several at Dollar Tree. They're humble little sheets that give enchanting results! So far I've used them on wooden pieces and some glass jars or bottles. I've successfully coated them with mod podge to seal and protect them. Of course everything I've done so far has been on a much smaller scale than what you just showed us. I love the rub on transfers you used as the designs were quite elegant! The Irish rose was gorgeous and reminded me of time spent in Ireland. And I love how you used different materials to place the transfers on. Although I was surprised to see the spice container was clear plastic and not metal. And metal would also be a great surface to use for the transfers. Now that I've tried this process using Dollar Tree rub on transfers, I think I'm ready to step it up with some more elaborate ones. As always, I thoroughly enjoyed this video! Thanks for sharing! 🌹

This was perfect for me! I have a matching set of very tarnished silver coffee server and tea server as well as the sugar and creamer that I've already painted white. @@kindashabby I don't know if you remember, but I told you awhile back ,I shattered my femur back in September and it resulted in a surgery with plates and pins. I won't be able to put full weight on it until this September. As I remained immobile, I started watching your channel. I became so excited seeing your projects, I started planning which ones I would start once I could walk again, so I started ordering craft supplies. My poor husband is unloading a box every other day. Well, 6 1/2 months later, I'm starting to walk with the use of a walker. It's hard but I'm organizing my craft room setting it up for my projects. Thanks for giving so many beautiful ideas. I'm going to paint my rolltop desk in my craft room, when I'm fully healed, the color of the door you out a transfer on so if you wouldn't mind telling me what's the paint color and manufacturer? I absolutely loved it. I plan on putting on some of those IOD transfers on it. I can't wait. Thanks for all your inspiration, it's totally motivating me to be ahead of where I should be in my recovery.

Hi Jessie! A curved surface definitely takes more time, but it is so worth it. I just made snips in the edges of the grid to help the transfer lay flat as I was working with it. You could cut about a 1/4 inch around your entire transfer to make it more manageable too. Happy Crafting and thank you so much for watching!

Dear Becky thanks so mutch for yours great ideas. All is very shabby and I love this! I make also roses with wide painter`s tape cream. Is adhesive therefore fold in the middle, then roll up and give glue from time to time and do not roll up to tightly. Grettings from Jrène

I have used syrup bottles that I embellished for Halloween but I love the soap dispenser idea and the spice jar is so sweet. The IOD transfers are gorgeous and I think I’m going to order it. Toni, I was so impressed with the transfers! They applied beautifully to each material I used them on. The only thing I forgot, was to seal each transfer with wax, and not just the one on the syrup bottle. I think I did alright for my first attempt! 😀

Thank you so Jody! I know it’s hit or miss finding them, but I pick up a few when I see them. I normally purchase crafting supplies that are reusable instead of one-time use like the transfers. But I was truly impressed with how pretty these transfer images are. I think you would enjoy working with them too.

I absolutely love rub on transfers! This past year I've found several at Dollar Tree. They're humble little sheets that give enchanting results! So far I've used them on wooden pieces and some glass jars or bottles. I've successfully coated them with mod podge to seal and protect them.
Of course everything I've done so far has been on a much smaller scale than what you just showed us.
I love the rub on transfers you used as the designs were quite elegant! The Irish rose was gorgeous and reminded me of time spent in Ireland.
And I love how you used different materials to place the transfers on. Although I was surprised to see the spice container was clear plastic and not metal. And metal would also be a great surface to use for the transfers.
Now that I've tried this process using Dollar Tree rub on transfers, I think I'm ready to step it up with some more elaborate ones.

Hello Kat! I’m glad you liked these projects; thank you! The edges are much more noticeable on the transfers that are intended to be labels, like the ones I applied to the jars. I’ve seen crafters in other videos lightly sand and distress to blur the edges or apply antiquing wax to give an aged appearance. I appreciate you watching and thank you for your question!

You can trim your transfer very closely to the outline before applying to a curved surface too.
