If I were 50 years younger I would vigorously pursue your affections...not inspite of your differences and not because of your differences...but because you are a vivacious, witty, smart young lady who can do what she sets her mind to. You have said you're not a victim and that is language that gets my attention any time from anyone who says it. Your "differences" may be attention getters...but they may also be the least interesting thing about you once a guy really gets to know you. Yes you need understanding and you may need occasional intervention for assistance...but that's what love is all about.
