Black Panther is undeniably one of Marvel’s most popular and successful movies to date. After grossing over a billion dollars worldwide, you’d think that Marvel would be chomping at the bit to release a second instalment. So, um, why the heck is it taking so long? The movie was released in January of 2018, and rumors are that a follow-up won’t be ready until 2020 or 2021. They were able to put out two Avengers movies a year apart; why the gap between Black Panthers? You would think that they’d be eager to capitalize on the movie’s popularity. Plus, with the likes of Iron Man and Captain America out of the picture, it’s not like they have a long list of other movies and more important heroes to get to first.
In this video, we’ll break down the success of Black Panther and how it shattered expectations and records. We’ll talk about all that went in to it, from the costume design to the soundtrack. Then, we’ll talk about what could be next for T’Challa and the nation of Wakanda. What does the future have in store for this aspect of the MCU? What villain will make their presence be known? After that, we’ll discuss what other Marvel movies are coming down the pipeline, and why certain ones might take precedence over Black Panther and others that certainly shouldn’t. This is how Black Panther factors into Marvel’s Phase 4.
I want Rogue in mcu. :( I hope she gets to be introduced as a villain first,maybe in one of the cap marvel movies...I would love for her to touch carol danvers like she did in the comics,and somehow just stealing her strenght and flight so we get the 90's Rogue that is the most popular version of that character till today.Then she could become a heroine later on.
Black panther 2 could be his fight to get the throne back because they probably declared him dead over the 5 year so who was left declared a new king so he has to fight to make king again.

Actually, they've already teased the possible villain for Black Panther 2. In the form of an Easter Egg Namor the Submariner was hinted when Okoyé said...It's an underwater earthquake, we deal with it, by not dealing with it! Namor, and Black Panther have a long history of fighting, and hating each other.
maybe it could be about a new leader and "black panther" that took t'challa's place from 2018-2023 and they changed the rituals so t'challa has to find a different way to become king again

How is there no mention of Namor, who is a big villian/anti-hero to Black Panther? Plus Atlantis is so close to Wakanda.

@@2KILLAVILLE they have already announced that it will be Namor, MC's version of Aquaman in Black Panther 2. I loved watching Black Panther thrice in theaters but I never caught it from the opening credits which brings the movie into total full perspective. It is a masterpiece. Far better than Infinity War and arguably as good as Endgames. Black Panther 2 has to have that type of epicness about it.

BP 2 I think will be as good but most Sequels not better than the Original! We shall see..I know BP 2 will have good Story, Acting, & Character Dialogue..Just only hope they Have T'Challa Fighting Sharp like it was in Civil War even tho I loved the Ritual fighting with BP/ M'Baku & Casino- Klaue Capture tho! Does Black Panther have any other villians they could incorporate?? Well maybe introduce Doctor Doom as the villian show him wanting to take over Wakanda for its resources to help him further Latveria as a Superpower its a stretch but its a perfect way to introduce the Fantastic Four into the MCU but the build up has to be good like with Thanos but that's just my thought and it probably sucks but whatever
I know I’m alone here. But I’m most interested in Wakanda’s early days. Like when they decide to become a stealth nation as a reaction to the growing power of Egypt & Samaria.
Or when Atlantis was above the waves and traded with Wakanda. Or perhaps there could be a tie-in with an early Panther Prince meeting Prince Dakkar the future Captain Nemo, at the University of Paris.
I’d like the movie BP2 to at least begin the story in antiquity then show us the results in this rapidly approaching modern age. That Guardians of the Galaxy has done so well.
Here is a way to introduce the X-Men in Phase 4 using The Avengers Infinity War and End Game as a connection:
After the Iron Man snap, because he was only a human and not physically or mentally capable the stones power. A energy way from the combined stones dispersed thru out time and space that effected cretin life forms that had been previously experimented on by the Celestial's.
Since the Wave traveled both time as well as space, the further back in time it went the fewer mutants that were created (The basis of most legends and myths). The closer you came to the Present the more Radiation, pollution, human experimentation(Like Wanda and Quicksilver in Age of Ultron), and evolution Would affect the growing human population until it start to produce Mutant. Before the snap most mutants powers were contributed to tricks, Paranormal phenomenon, Tale Tales or accidental acts of superhuman feats brought on by stress, danger of fight or flight scenarios.
After The Snap type of events involving mutants occurs which causes magneto to come out of the shadows (re-enacting Issue X-Men 1) and Prof. X calls in the X-Men to stop him.........POW the muant age is born!

Since the Wakanda had such great technology than the Spear he stabbed himself with just missed his heart remember they have "great technology" so he survived and recouped then he took control for the five years but did it honorable..so he and the Prince would mend there diffences.

Stop whining about when BP2 is coming. There are many more interesting movies to be made coming much later than BP2. How about X-men and the Fantastic 4? People who reduce the decision simply to their perception of "business" don't understand how complex the movie business is. If it was that simple we would have X-men/Wolverine next year. Scheduling everyone alone causes huge delays....not to mention the newly acquired leverage of success with the key players involved. Settle down Beavis!
