You don't have to be black to see into George's heart, passion and motivation!! I'm a 70 year old white from a working class background and whose parents had no aspirations whatsoever for me except that I might marry and give them grandchildren. They gave me nil understanding or preparation for adulthood and it is only in very recent years that I have tried to get my head around the history and politics of Britain and other countries. I just love George's gifting to explain his own experience in such a meaningful and accessible way. Big thanks to everyone involved in his mission. ❤

I worked in Willesden for 2 years then Hackney. No-one asks to be born into the classes or minorities which will be deliberately excluded from access to resources and opportunities. George is my favourite poet

I only just discovered him but already am warmed to his intelligent, thoughtful and purposeful assessment of the way people struggle when exposed to cultures different to their own, and the consideration of how politicians need to respect the value of everyone and realise that investing in the lives of all people rather than profit and success might promote more harmony. He's one to look up to and respect - thanks to a quiet godly spirit.
