Great review! The Monorail station makes it easy to get to the rest of the strip. Lots of great restaurants. International Smoke has great ribs. The pools and lazy river are great. The standard rooms are ok, I would say above average but not great. We were in a long check in line but a nice MGM employee helped us do mobile check in, and let us check in early at 10:30am for free! Casino is huge and nice. Overall a great place.

At one time, this was the largest hotel with slightly over 5,000 rooms. Kinda miss the old MGM movie theme that was originally here. I miss the live lions and Dorothy since they are so closely associated with the MGM brand.

I’ve always thought of MGM as kind of isolated down at the end by itself, but you really sold it by showing how many ways it is connected to other properties and how much there is to do right at the property. I definitely want to check out the pool.

Thanks for watching and commenting, we appreciate you! A lot of people don't know that there is so much inside because unlike some of the other properties like Paris, Caesars, NYNY the exterior really does nothing to draw you in. So unless you're staying there or visiting someone there, you probably wouldn't just go in to check it out.

Great video Sebastian. I'm a big fan of the MGM Grand. The location while definitely south end, isn't as isolated as Luxor or Mandalay Bay. It's definitely huge, but once you learn the layout it's not too bad. The rooms are spacious and clean and the rates usually aren't bad either. The food options are great. It's become our home base whenever we visit.

really loved this video, and the cute dog! wish to see more of him/her. i'm watching because we're staying for the second time and wanted to see if we missed anything, our stay wasn't too pleasant. Wanted to point out a couple things, there are cheaper rooms at the MGM, the studio king rooms, which are at the farrrrrrr end of the tower wings. our walk to our room from the main elevator (elevator at end of wing was not operating) was around 5 minutes. They have the grand king rooms listed for about 20 bucks more. Also, the MGM grand is at the south* end of the strip, with sahara and strat being on the north end. I didn't realize till this video that we had a lot of fun resorts all within walking distance! There were a lot of cons from our last stay, and I swore against coming back, but all the food and entertainment options, plus the kind staff AND the huge casino floor makes it hard not to go back when compared to other resorts for that price range. That place always felt alive, any time of day, from morning to 1 in the morning. and a FAT TUESDAYS right down the stairs to the underground! if our stay in april is a lot better, we may just make MGM our go to vacation spot! thanks for the video keep doing great!!

Thank you so much for watching and sharing your feedback. LOL, I noticed the North / South flub when I watched it after it was posted, it's so easy to get turned around down there, lol. We were lucky to be closer to the elevators than your 5 minute walk, Carlos (my dog) would not have been happy going down first thing in the morning, lol. It is pretty easy to forget about what's around MGM because its easy to never leave the property with so much to do, see, eat and play inside. Thats one of the main draws to the property and the Pool is very popular. Thanks again and hope you have a great trip in April!

Best MGM Grand memory has to be The Killers show 2018 at the Garden Arena. As a rideshare driver 2017 - 2018 pickups could be brutal, 8 out of 10 times the fare was waiting at the entrance instead of the pickup area. Hopefully the rideshare area has improved with visible signs and no longer a con. The MGM being on the monorail line I would consider this a pro. Nice work!!
