under braking you tend to point the car into the apex you have to keep the car parallel to the edge of the track under braking until your turn-in point to maximize your minimum speed throughout the corner

you also tend to keep a little throttle throughout the corner this causes severe understeer which limits your cornering speed
trailbrake deep into the corner until the apex and then go hard on the throttle
