Lester (Hal Williams) is about to receive a special award at the Owls Men's Club, where women aren't allowed. However, Mary (Marla Gibbs) finds the perfect solution to be there: she dresses up as a man. Sandra (Jackée Harry) happens to have the same idea.
From Season 3, Episode 1 'Men's Club': Lester's Uncle's men's club is honoring him. Mary wants to be there with him but his Uncle says that no women are allowed. Mary then decides to dress up like a man and go to the award ceremony as does Sandra.
