Welcome to our first full day in Orlando. We decided to head over to the magic and what better park to kickstart the holiday than Magic Kingdom? First stop, we head to the Polynesian Resort for breakfast at Ohanas. We then take the monorail over to Magic Kingdom for the whole day and evening. We utilise genie plus, watch the parade, eat at Casey's Corner, and of course watch the newest fireworks show, Enchantment which was incredible. I hope you enjoy coming along on our wonderful first day of the trip, it was everything we could have asked for and more.

I'm so pleased it helped! :) It was definitely a learning curve but I highly recommend refreshing the app constantly if you don't see anything come up that you want x

Honestly I did feel like I had been run over a little bit the next morning 😆😂 We tend to do it as we never know when we’re next able to come back. Sometimes I feel like I need a holiday to relax after 😂xx

Thank you so much for watching! 😊 I'm glad the Genie+ bits were helpful. I think the key is to persevere and keep refreshing if you don't see anything or only see things for later on in the day. We always had earlier times pop up throughout the day if we kept refreshing. Definitely a learning curve and I take my hat off to Ryan for doing it for us 😊

You'll have the best time I'm sure! 😊 WELL... in terms of park days we kinda went crazy haha. We did 7 full Disney days (inc waterpark day), and 4 full Universal days (inc waterpark day). We then did one day completely away from the parks and another at Clear Water Beach, (although we did go to Magic Kingdom that evening for a few hours). I completely understand everyone has different plans and would like to factor in more rest days etc, especially if you have children. We just wanted to soak up as much park time as poss as it was pretty pricey and wanted to make the most of our money. 😊x
Loved this ☺️ and thank you for including so much on Genie+, i’m hopefully going next year and the new system seems so much more complicated than Fastpass+ (last time i went was 2019 too!), but you guys explained it really well. Deffo taking notes haha. Looking forward to the next vlog!
Thank you so much! 💜 I'm pleased the Genie+ bits was helpful. I'm still sad that Fastpass+ has gone and I certainly wasn't happy with the price. We added Genie+ to our holiday tickets before we went so it was factored into our holiday package. That way I tried not to think about it being £15 pp per day. 😳 The key is to keep refreshing if you only see rides pop up for later in the day. We had so many earlier ones pop up if we kept refreshing as people always tend to cancel. I've also heard it's better if you use mobile data as well rather than the Disney wifi 😊
@@SophieCharlton. yeah so so expensive! Think i’ll try and get Genie+ added to our tickets as well so i don’t have to think about it lol. Ooh ok, great tip, i’ll have to remember that about the wifi!
@@AlexandraNatashia Yeah there's no denying it's expensive but we definitely felt it was worthwhile as we tend to do a lot of full park days. It's probably worth it more for Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios. On the flip side, I've heard so many people have still achieved what they wanted without it. I suppose it all depends on how busy it is on the day. 😊x
You guys did so much in one day. I don’t know how you managed such a full on first day we can never get past lunchtime.
I don’t know how we managed it either to be honest 😂We were flagging a bit after lunch and we got a large Joffrey’s coffee each late afternoon as a pick me up 😂 Thanks so much for watching and taking your time to leave a comment 🥰

Aww thank you so much for watching! :) We use a Go Pro for the water rides, I think it's the Hero 10. I use the Canon g7x for general filming :) x
Would you be able to do a video on Disney Genie plus and how it works/the benefits and if it’s worth it compared to just the free Disney genie? Loving these vlogs💛

just a quick question about the genie plus, or should I say network. how did u manage with a UK phone?
Aww thank you very much, that’s really lovely to read! 😊 So Ryan is with EE and they offer a travel add on for £10 (which covers a month). This allowed him to use his usual data like normal in the USA. The parks do have wifi but it’s not always reliable. I turned my phone data off out there and used wifi whenever I could connect because we had Ryan’s data. Hope that helps! 😊
Loving your vlogs 8 of us are going to the movie resort in August as long as our day before test is negative We are also flying from Manchester. Was the meal on the plane just the pasta or was there another choice. X

@@SophieCharlton. we used to stay in kissamee my daughter got married at Cypress gardens in 2008 in 2018 we stayed at animal kingdom that was awesome movie resort was the best offer at the time of booking

What time did u get to wdw looked really early?
We got to the car park at MK just after 7am because we had breakfast booked at 7.30am at Ohana’s. So we walked over there for breakfast then made it into Magic Kingdom just after 8.30am 😊
