And you generally don't have to stand in line to get in! Maybe you can carry on Arthur's tradition of doing vlogs :)

Otherwise. Most programs you see would not be here if not for them.Watch the old classics. You will see what Hollywood used to be.I GUARENTEE, you will love them.Start with Laurel and Hardy, then 3 Stooges. Then advance to Bob Hope,Frank Sinatra.Dance with Gene Kelly.."Good morning".The orange juice commercial came from "Singing in the Rain".I talk to much.Sorry.😅😅.But this channel has everyone.

Vera-Ellen was, IMO, one of the most versatile dancers ever to grace the silver screen in Hollywood, and it's too bad she didn't get as much fame as she deserved to have. She could do tap, ballet, jazz and ballroom dancing, all with equal ease, and with her slender figure and sweet face, she was pretty easy on the eyes, too. It's too bad that she had such a troubled life, with divorces, losing a baby daughter to SIDS, and battling with an eating disorder, and she died of cancer when she was still relatively young, in her early 60s. It was nice to be able to see where her resting place is!

"Buster" was born Joseph Frank Keaton in Piqua, Kansas on October 4, 1895.
According to legend, he was with his father, Joe. While paying a visit to Harry Houdini, the boy toddled out of site of the adults.
When they noticed the kid was missing, they looked around and saw that he was crawling toward a set of stairs which lead down to the basement of the house.
Before they could reach him, the boy toddled through the door and fell down the flight of stairs.
Terrified that they would find the boy gravely injured or dead, they were astonished and relieved to find him sitting up and laughing.
Harry looked at Joe and said, "That was quite a buster your kid just took!"
That was how he got his stage name.

Unmarked graves, I'll still say it, you don't have to spend a huge amount, just don't leave it unmarked, the dead need a name. Love this one man, good job. It's the most styleish grave series ever. Hats off to the style, bow for the honor you give to them.

I just think it's so rude and dishonorable to leave a grave unmarked. No one said the headstone had to be huge, just big enough to for there name. To me how can you love someone and just not mark the grave. Sounds like they are cheep. I know there can be other reasons but being cheep always hits me first and stays. If your going to be cheep then have them cremated and scattered to the winds.

I've been to this cemetery several times . I live in the valley. It's actually the only cemetery I know that's literally open for 24 hours. It's a very very scary place & at the same time I really love it. During the day. I've been here at nite , one time with a friend . We were in the car eating pizza & no joke, a black figure whizzed right by my car . We booked it on outta there . I've been there on very rainy stormy days which is an awesome time to be there. It's for some reason a very quiet cemetery that not many people at all go to. Probably because it's located at the end of a street hills. It's a very creepy cemetery. Also, whenever I've gone there , the neighbors who live out there don't like people near here for some stupid reason.
Another thing is all the times I've been there , I've not once seen any maintenance people , no funerals or anything at all. It's the perfect cemetery if you really don't want to be bothered by anyone . It is weird how there's no activity there . But I love it that way 🤫
A rumour is that either the manager , groundskeeper or owner is a KKK member. .
    Gravity Hill is also here.
I'd advise anyone to bring people with them & not go alone here, especially at nite.
But it is very cool to know that you can sleep here if you want & chill because there no closing hours here. it's always open.

Wow, just crazy. I wonder if those neighbors who hate visitors should be buried in a spot that will never be visited when they die...
Does the cemetery look like it's being maintained? I would love to visit and pay Len Lesser my respects, big Seinfeld fan. He was hilarious as Jerry's crazy Uncle Leo.

Jeffrey Hunter, Vera-Ellen, Len Lesser, and Michael Strong are the best highlights of this episode 👍.
I hope some notable people and stars like Gwen Guthrie, Jack Holt, Shirley Temple-Black, Gene Kelly, Grace Kelly, Fortin Ciccone (Madonna's mom), Christopher Lawford, Lauren Bacall be featured in the next episode 🙂

I have been watching your videos for so long and as soon as I saw Vera-Ellen I freaked out. She means so much to me so thank you so much for visiting her because not a lot of people go to her grave. I have a Vera-Ellen account on Insta (sorry for the self promo lol @veraellenforever) and will make sure to share this video with all the other Vera fans. Once again thank you so much Xx

I find it incredibly sad that some people, especially entertainers who gave us so many laughs, are buried with no marker to memorialize their final resting place; and that they are buried alone without family surrounding them. It makes me wonder if they lived sad, lonely lives without family surrounding them to give them love and companionship. I always question, "Where is their family?"
I always enjoy your videos. Your respectful tours of cemeteries is both informative and educational. Thanks for preserving the history of some of our greatest performers.

Glen Haven Cemetery brings back some sad memories for me. Some of my former classmates from Verdugo Hills High in Tujunga are resting there and they died young, in their teens. Two here murder victims and two were killed by drunk drivers. I was not aware any celebrities were buried there as Glen Haven is out of the way in a quiet area. My two friends who were murdered were killed in Little Tujunga Canyon, just a short distance from Glen Haven....
