    Hey man you are becoming main face for Rockwell razors 😃 great video , T2 looks damn good on the first pass , like your not cutting but just "erasing" hairs from the face. Effortless. 👍

    New to DE (3 months). Started with the 34C and then bought the 6C. 3 plate is perfect for my skin. BBS every day with Astra SP blades. Now thinking about a T2, as I’d like to dial down for my lower neck area. Great videos. I’m learning a lot and really appreciate your efforts.

    Another good comparison shave with Rockwell razors. IMO, no one will be disappointed with either Rockwell safety razor. It comes down to whether they want to adjust "on the fly" or by "flipping" a plate. I have the Henson+, the Leaf Twig, the Merkur 34C, the Rex Ambassador (and a few others). But my Rockwell 6S tops them all for comfortable, efficient, and irritation-free shaves.

    I got started with the Leaf Twig, and I just made the switch and went "all in". I bought the T2 and I don’t regret it at all. My first shave with my T2 was better than any shave I ever got with my Leaf Twig. I still have a lot of learning to do, but for me, it was a great purchase. I'd recommend the T2 to anyone.

    Great video and shave. I have both of these razors in gunmetal also. On the 6C I get the best shave with the 3 and 4 plate. On the T2 I have a problem finding the correct angle. If I use the 4 setting I get irritation. Not giving up on the T2 yet. I will keep trying. The blades I use in both are Kai and Gillette Wilkinson Sword from India. That is what works for my skin and razor combo. Favorite soaps are Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements and Sterling Soaps. Have a great week.

    I am seriously considering the T2 as I am still looking for my perfect razor/bade combination and probably need the adjustability between passes, as I have sensitive skin with a strong beard.
    I have been using the R41 and R89 with several different blades. Results have been mixed and quite annoying - everything from a nice shave to a blood bath. After 40+ years shaving I didn’t think the switch to DEs would be such a challenge, but that’s part of the ‘fun’ I suppose. Onwards and upwards. Cheers!

      The R41 is the most aggressive and “scary” razor out there, definitely not recommended for newbies. The Gillette King razor is mild and the Merkur 34C is the most recommended razor out there that I’ve encountered. Where did you settle on?

    • @Blue_3rd
      @Blue_3rd 11 месяцев назад

      @@georgewashington3012 Hi. My go to is the R89 which I use with BIC and Bolzano blades which give me perfect shaves. Sometimes I use a Feather too. If I have a few day’s growth I use the R41 with no problems (my technique has improved considerably). I use the T2 occasionally and find it surprisingly aggressive - I tend to stick to level 3 or even 2. If I had to choose one it would be the R89. + Bolzano every time 👍. Cheers!

    I've just finished shaving with Rockwell 6s plate 2. Yes, it's joy to shave with safety razors just as it's joy to write with fountain pens. However, the drawbacks aren't less than those of the cartridge razors. Cartridge razors give you irritation, while safety razors nicks you. Even with Rockwell 6s which has the reputation of "it's hard to nick yourself when shaving with the 6s" yet everytime I shave against the grain, my neck bleeds like hell no matter what plate I used, no matter whether I used foam or shaving soap. The bottom line is safety razors are all the same. My first safety razor was King Gillette, I got same shave quality.

      I would focus more on your technique. If your neck is bleeding like hell when you go against the grain. Keep watching more videos to hone in on your skill set. I would also try different DE razor blades.

      Hi Salaam i had the same issue. It really comes down to preparation technique. The thing that worked for me is using arm movements and less wrist movements. Ohio brought this up in one of his recent videos. I think he was talking about shaving the neck area and jaw line. Also i have found that going with than across than against the grain in that order with very very light pressure when against worked for me. Also i really think the Twig razor is great for beginners because it teaches you the correct angle. After a couple months with the twig and using this arm technique i can now use DE razors with no issue. It took me a while to get to this point glad i stuck with it cause the wifey likes BBS. I can't get bbs with cartridge razor.

    I haven't seen many girls interested in safety razors, but I'm considering buying another, higher quality one, I bought a little 20 dollar van der hagen adjustable and am still unsure if I want the 6s, or t2, I like the adjustability since I shave multiple places at the same time, but I don't know if I like the head overhang
