Very cool ! I used to live 15 min away in the N. Grove. VK was our windsurfing spot. Enjoy Miami, just be extra careful and lock up everything all the time.
So awesome to see you guys here in our home town riding the trails we ride and seeing your prospects. Enjoy guys and don’t forget to take Hanna to some of the night life.
I can't sleep in insane humidity like that lol. I found a way to add an air conditioner to my truck's camper shell for when we take our jet skis and camp at a lake. The downside: Needs electricity haha.
Oooooo yeah! You two had a blast! I love seein others from out of state reacting to South Florida trails. It's sometimes unbelievable what these trail builders have done down here. Great video and I am stoked for the Markham Video.
Nice tour of the bike park and funny paddle board acquisition story (must make room in the van). South Florida is very hot and humid... big change from SoCal! That would definitely be difficult for Van life sleeping. It's nice to see you guys always having fun together and discovering new horizons. I wonder how long you guys will be able to survive in Florida before the weather pushes you away?
Welcome to sunshine state! Come back to the gulf side and we can paddle the clausa blueway in some mangroves then do some single track at Caloosahatchee Regional Park! Also when you do Alafia go ahead and hit Balm Boyette.
You should check out Ginnie springs on the paddle boards! It's about a 40 minute drive from Santos. Also, grapefruit trails probably has the most jumps and drops packed into a small area. Highly recommended!
Cool to see you two enjoying my former stomping grounds. You’re going to love Markham! Let me know if you’re planning on visiting eastern GA/SC. and hitting Fats. Might be able to show you around the CSRA trails. Plus there’s great Paddle boarding on nearby Lake Thurmond.
Rookie move, taking your SUP out on the ocean side. Take it on the inland side for less wind. Find some cool canals with buildings and houses to block the wind.
Cool vid. Virginia Key def fun. Head a little north to Jupiter (just north of Palm Beach) and hit Jonathan Dickinson State Park. Mtb trails and then rent a little aluminum jon boat and go upriver on the Loxahatchee. Im telling you you’ll feel like you’re in Jurassic Park. Way cool.
@@moandhannahtravel my son and I pre covid would go down to South Florida a couple of times a year from DC. If you want to check out more of natural FL in that area check out the Whiskey Creek Hideout at Dr Von D. Mizell Euna State Park in south Fort Lauderdale. It is a natural barrier island. No mtbing there but an amazing place to kayak or paddleboard on the Whiskey Creek among the mangroves, with a beach on the other side. The Hideout rents kayaks. You can watch the cruise and container ships go in and out of Port Lauderdale from the beach. And when lunchtime hits get something to eat and drink and imagine being a pirate at the Hideout. Go on a weekday and you’ll have the place practically to yourself. While in Jupiter a bit further north check out Jupiter Beach and DuBois Park and paddleboard or kayak around Burt Reynolds park and then cut across the intracoastal to an uninhabited island with a lagoon and little island in the middle of it. Great place to eat a prepacked lunch. Can rent a kayak from Blueline Surf and Paddle (awesome little surf shop) and get a drink on the water under tiki huts at Guanabanas. Then just up the road is Jonathan Dickinson. Damn I really miss the turquoise blue waters!! Keep having fun down there.
That place looks like an amusement park full of roller coasters! Another amazing thing about Florida trails....they are all one way! Socal trails have yet to figure that concept out!
Completely unrelated to mountain biking, but I have struggled with who Hannah reminded me of? Then I was watching an old 80's move Vise Versa and realized that the actress Corinna Bohrer played Sam in that movie is who Hannah reminded me of, fyi.
Any gators in Miami? Only been to Orlando and Daytona and I never wanna go back lol. Not solely due to gators but traffic and the greenery was just too swampy for me. I prefer more of a tropical vibe being from the phil. Miami looks nicer unless moe is lying to me lol

Just kidding. I love you man!
Paddle Life! We've been itching to get some boards too but don't think we could fit them anywhere... might have to take out a shelf and go for it.
We highly reccomend that plan! 😂😂😂 you guys will love it! Hope all is well!
bro, that Miami weather has your hair on point!
Love your vids! So enthusiastic and entertaining. Keep up the hard work!

First mtb ride for me was Virginia key, 1990. Things have changed a lot since then!
It’s an awesome zone!!
Looks like you guys are having a blast in FL. Awesome content , and best of all the smiles to go along with your journey. 🍻

You should get some short clips of Mo singing karaoke. ;-)
That Virginia Key looks like an amusement park for mountain bikes. Very cool!
We would but you might be the only one stoked on him singing 😂

What was the issue with going into the water? I never thought Florida would have so much to offer mountain bikers!
A storm rolled in and it got super choppy! Was way calmer the day before!
