They try to teach her Korean words while showing interest to learn some Japanese words. I am just putting myself as Kkura. I am introvert who likes to be alone at times and if I become the only foreigner in the room, I think I'll feel comfortable with these 4 people. They're friendly in teaching their culture but also showing some interests to learn her culture.
I know what you mean!!! I'm learning Korean myself too and I dont have any Korean friends nearby so there is a limit to just studying online by myself. It would be so nice to have a native friend like Hodong. Especially for an introvert like me.

although there are shows that are weird/inappropriate, there are also good/fun variety shows... Edit: 1 thing i like about Japanese shows are they are long running...currently i'm watchng Gakki no Tsukai Game No Laughing (even tho some of their contents are kinda inappropriate/savage/rated but it was funny af) of course not to mentions variety shows from my fave J-Idol Arashi like VS Arashi & Arashi ni Shiagare which are fun & family friendly
There are a lot of different kind of variety shows in Japan, and the ones that Japanese idol groups like the 48G appear on like "SMAP" or the "AKB Show" are really family shows with good, clean fun. Kang Hodong is very much a similar type of host to AKBingo's "Bad Boys" or Sanma Akashiya (Sanma-san) on "Sanma no Manma."
Hodong really changed and I'm so happy. I remember there's so many victims from Star King. I'm glad that he realize his mistakes and changing for the better. Respect! 👍👍
