I have an x100s and it still pretty much fills my need, except when when I hand it to someone to take my photo. I always end up out of focus. Auto-focus is 😅
I would not recommended you to record the A-roll (Main footage) with this camera because there's not enough room to edit or color grading it. However, if you want to record just for the aesthetic, it is a good way to use this camera. About the battery, I'm using the brand called PowerTrust. It is a budget friendly battery brand, and I have no problem ever since I bought it.
l am 74 now and have used many formats of roll film + digital camera over the years but l was very disappointed with my mark 1 Fuji x100. The lens is the same throughout? And with all future models? The controls were so un-necessary - sometimes the camera would freeze-up!
As I understand, the model that released after the X100T has better autofocus than the X100 and X100S. Also, yes the entire X100 line comes with 28mm F2 fix lens.
I got both Tele and wide conversion lenses. I’ll do the video about it later, but so far I cannot live without these lenses. Both tele and wide conversion lenses doesn’t have the color fringing which is pretty awesome, and it makes the camera looks cool!
@@albertbernal7434 I ended up taking the XT20 for 400 euros, second hand in really good condition. Apparently it's also a good choice, plus I get to change the lense if I want to Not sure it was a good choice though haha
Hi Tony, very nice video about the X100s. I have bought my X100s in 2013 and I'm still very happy to use it. Thanks again!
I saw the original X100 back when I was a photography student, and I would say that I couldn't stop dreaming about it ever since.

It is very tricky when it comes to auto-focus. It takes a while to teach people how to use it.
Hi Tony, thanks for this review. Nice video!
Thank you so much ^^❤❤❤
Great video! I like the colours of the sample pics in the video. Are they edited in post or are you using film simulations?
Some of them are from film simulation, but most of them are something else.
@@TonyMvisual which film simulation was it?
It offers a 1080p 60fps video recording. Can i use it for youtube you think? Is there a dummy battery option that maybe you have explored?

I had a doubt. I can't control the exposure while capturing photos. The dial does work well for videos.
How can I control the exposure?
Cool video, can I ask what référence is the squared hood on the x100s? Thanks
Is this camera only suitable for street photography? What about landscape/portraiture etc?
Nice video. Thank you.
I’m curious about your X100S thumb grip, its hard for me to find in marketplace, can you named to me what brand your X100S thumb grip?
I bought it through the store called Hithut from Amazon. I believe you can use the same thumb grip that is designed for the x100V.
@@TonyMvisual thanks man
Did you get the converter lenses?? How's the performance?

@@TonyMvisual was it expensive??
@@esthapanos It's around 250 to 300$ each on the market. I was lucky enough to get them at 250$ each.
Would you say it's still worth it in 2024 ? The T, F and V are way too expensive 😢
Fr they are, I’m looking on eBay for x100s around $550 to $700 right now in ok condition
