Hey, all! I know it’s been months since I uploaded this, but I’m just…wow! I made this video on a whim because I cannot let go of these two ever! (It’s been almost a year, they still haven’t left my brain) Thank you all so much for the support! One of these days I’ll start replying to all of your comments when I can find the time (I promise!) I also wanted to remind everyone to please use they/them pronouns for Raine, as those are their canon pronouns and they are canonically non-binary! I’ve seen a few comments accidentally get them wrong, so I wanted to point that out for those who don’t know. Byeeeee!
dude it’s just the fact that raine went through everything in the entire show ALONE. dealing with terra, being a double agent, have to sacrifice everything for the sake of the mission all by themself. Then, being a puppet and getting possessed? they dealt with all of that By Themself. they threw belos out and took him on and failed alone. it makes me so sad, because we see darius and eber being together and kinda following raines lead as far as organizing a rebellion goes. hunter has friends to pick up the pieces while and after his possession. poor raine bro 😭

Raine is the scariest person in the show without a doubt for me. What makes them terrifying isn't their physical or magical strength, it's their mental strength. The ability to abandon everything, including the lives of those they care about, which is what allows them to ask Eda to the original plan and the day of unity. They are the scariest person in the show because they are willing to give not just their own life, which can be easy in comparison, but those around their's for a greater good. Their will is immense, and that's the people we should fear the most.
YES! In the beginning Raine seemed like a very timid and shy person, and well they still are shy- but still a badass and a very powerful witch. There is so much to this character and I wish we got more of them.
People keep forgetting that they actually weren’t willing to risk Eda for most of s2, they flat out refused bc her safety is the most important thing to them. And even in the finale, they did it with extreme reluctance and guilt. They’re not as much of a “for the greater good” person as people make them out to be, they’re more of a “do the right thing” kinda person. But other than that, I agree. Raine is such a strong character, and I seriously wish the show hadn’t been cancelled so we coulda had more of them.
I think the best and most confusing part of their character was the fact that they were so dorky yet effortlessly confident and cool and not at all cringy. Now that’s some good character writing right thrr
3:33 Disney can shove off. They shortened the greatest cartoon in the history of all cartoons I’ve ever watched. This show is so freaking inspiring, star versus doesn’t hold even the smallest candle to Dana’s masterpiece here
I just realized that Lilith volunteered to be the fake Raine because of her guilt over the owl curse. Even though she had no idea what the spell actually was and thought it was a harmless jinx, she was still desperate to stop putting Eda in danger.
Raine just has a smol bean energy even though they could probably kill someone if they wanted The fact that they managed to make a grown person adorable is just ✨
In a sense I think that we had a few Eda separating her limbs shots so when raine removed their arm the fans weren’t all confused. But yes… pray for the safety of raine whispers
3:16 the fact you stopped the goofy music in the background so Raine’s Rhapsody/Eda’s Requiem could be heard, it also is one of my favorite scenes, I first watched it and fell in love with it
Gotta say that I like when Eda calls them Raine Storm when their name is Whispers because she knows how powerful they are in spite of their stage fright.
I can always hear that off tune note that Eda makes when Raine asks her about King and Eda 😭 Raine is one of the absolute best of the best characters in this entire show they are so fucking amazinggggggg I do many of these scenes made me cry watching it 😭

Everytime Raine hits the high note at 4:01 just gives me automatic goosebumps it's just such a beautiful moment and the music is just wow. I want to meet the people that composed the music
4:43 it’s not here but just a few seconds before this moment, when Eda is looking down at Raine, they’re smiling at her. I like to think it’s them going “if I die, at least I got to see her one last time”.

One of my biggest regret in life is making Eda’s Requiem as my clock alarm, cause now I get annoyed everytime I hear the first notes. I regret doing that cuz it’s such a good music and scene! Tho I freaking LOVE Raeda!
Two facts I find adorable about Raine that I found on Owl house wikipedia: 1. As one of Rains goals is listed "to keep Eda safe" 2. Listed as to things they dislike is listed "Eda's lies" and "Eda in danger"
While awaited for Seaon 3, I was scared that Raine would die. He and Eda seemed fated to be star-crossed lovers. Then they survived but they were possessed by Belos, something I wouldn't desire even for Boscha (well, perhaps for Odalia).. but they were able to fight the possession and survived to help Luz's family to fight the goop! Really amazing. Just one thing that bothers me: where in the islands were Raine when Eda was about to be petrified?
Thats what im saying like seriously i kind of wish they added a background scene/an "easter egg" to possibly foreshadow raine's upcoming appearances. Ig that kind of appearance wouldve spiced up the whole raeda inquisition
