      She and the others trying to make the decision of the prospective bride are all WRONG! The notion that a WEDDING dress must show so much cleavage and other measures of nudity is not a thing that the very institution of marriage should embrace. The church where the wedding will most likely take place is supposed to be a holy refuge and those entering it ought to be reverential towards it. All of a sudden those wedding dresses became a thing of decadence and disgust. Pay attention behind those creating those dresses that allows those boops to easily fly away from the chest of the bride. It is subliminal pornograpy which even those so called Christians can hardly discern. Cover up your body on your wedding day. It is NOT an exhibition.

    • @virginiamoss7045
      @virginiamoss7045 3 года назад +7

      @@dezziliodevellini9533 I agree; it's all become distorted and decadent. Surprisingly enough, more and more young people are simply not getting married. Instead, they are making personal commitments to one another and living their lives just like or better than married people. As long as children are well taken care of it does not matter if the couple are married or not.

      Whether you are an introvert or not, subjecting a mother to what must have been an embarrassing and hurtful situation was cruel. I'm not sensitive, but I guarantee if I was in that exact situation the minute I started to cry, I would have left the room, gone outside and not had that conversation with my child on a televised program. I think they were totally disrespectful to that lovely woman. A woman that would have loved to be in a financial position to afford that dress. I can imagine the fear that rushed through her knowing she could not come up nor save another grand in time.
      I would also never hurt my mother by putting on the dress she couldn't afford and walking back out in it knowing that when she looked at me during the wedding or my wedding pictures even 20 years down the road, this would be her memory.
      I would have searched every bridal shop, in every county near me until my mother and I found a dress within the agreed upon budget that I loved just as much, if not more. Apologies for the novel but as a single mother I felt this woman's pain.

    This just annoyed me. I was a single mom, my son perhaps at 5 or 6 or 7 years of age would have thrown a fit, but to have that bride stand there watching her mom fall apart like that? Shame on her. The bridesmaids should have stepped up to contribute to the remaining amount since they were so determined to put her into a dress that she couldn't afford. Honestly, I was disgusted with the bride AND her bridesmaids. I was heartbroken for the mom.

      @@H20-t3g I noticed you defending here in multiple comments, so let me try to answer your question from my POV. There were several moments that I consider disrespectful behavior by the bride to her mother. 1) overriding her budget because you're an only-child. She meant it, when she said it, it wasn't said in a funny way. 2) her mom was so happy with her pick and even though the bride was in every right to try a different one, she should've appreciated her mother more for choosing an almost perfect dress. 3) when her mom poured her heart out the bride just stood there with a facial expression of "umm what u doin? Ewww are you crying? Please just stop." Even when she embraced her mother her face was cold. The viewers (myself included) however were all in tears as well because this was such a heart-beaking moment to see the mom being solo loving and disappointed in herself. 4) when she had the chance to put on a third dress, she didn't even try to find a different dress or prepare her mother in private for the fact that she will choose the overpriced dress nonetheless. It was a kick in the face to come out in the dress like this again. You could tell by the fact that mom didn't know what to make of it, after she had just calmed down.
      It's cool the chose to make up the difference on her own but it wasn't what her mom wanted and it should've been discussed to consider her mom's feelings. But that is the key point of this episode and what the viewers criticise: the bride is to self-centered to consider her mom's feelings. Or at least that's how she comes across here. There.. I hope this helps you understand.

    This episode was so heartbreaking. The mom felt so bad she couldn't afford the $3500 dress. My heart sank for this crying mom. A budget was set for a reason. The bridesmaids are to blame for this. They like the expensive dress then help pay for it. The bride save her pennies to help pay the difference. I was an only child and never said I'll get what I want. I felt the hurt in this mom. That was not okay what they did...

    • @Marina_7
      @Marina_7 3 года назад +1

      I absolutely agree! I'm also an only child and almost never ask/asked for anything, especially if it's not cheap. Not that it's wrong to ask, but you know, within reason.
      Besides, there are also people with siblings that don't have common sense and make crazy requests. I think it's more about the person being out of touch with reality (and often being too obsessed with social media).
      In any case, expecting your parent to magically pop up 1k (unless maybe they're rich?) is disrespectful, insensitive and quite delusional. If you don't find a dress you like within budget, go to another store.

    This broke my heart. How selfish and entitled her friends were. I would never have hurt my mother like that. When my mom and I went to find my dress, I saw what I needed in her eyes. And sure enough, 25 years later, my husband told me he thought I looked so beautiful when I appeared. That he was blown away. He said, "I didn't think you could be more beautiful, I was wrong". I owe that to my mother's eyes. She knew the man, the dress, the moment.
