They don't need to do it before, when it's this....and these "making of" would ruin the effect of just seeing the show first!
@@joanneweiss3864 I meant the entire marketing campaign for Netlfix shows and movies begin literally just a week before the release date. After it releases, marketing goes bonkers
I didn't even know that this movie existed until 2 days ago when I saw a comment in a youtube video about Benedict Cumberbatch being interviewed by Jimmy Kimmel (or Jimmy Fallon, I forgot which) and Benedict was trying to talk about Andrew Garfield in Tick Tick Boom but Jimmy kept asking about Andrew in Spiderman No Way Home.
This was one of the best movies I’ve seen in a long time.

Finally watched the film yesterday night and I absolutely loved it! What a great performance out of every single cast member! I'm so happy they are giving it all the attention it deservers. Bravo!
Congrats to this movie for the Golden Globe nominations. This year was pretty great for musicals and this movie was such a great love letter to Johnathan that it would have been upsetting if it didn't get a nomination.

@@rjbutt6097 I know but sometimes Hollywood would overdo it that it's not believable at some point. The characters are actually based on Tick Tick Boom which is a rock monologue and is loosely based on his life.
The characters you see in this film are not real people.

Always wondered if they are lip syncing to their own recording or they are really singing and it get produced over. How is it that the movie doesn't look lip syncing but something like glee it's painfully obvious.
LOVE this movie btw. Watched multiple times.
They are really singing while recording, but they get dubbed over later, both in the case of this movie and glee, but this movie is supposed to sound like a musical so it's produced to sound like it's live, making it easy for the lip syncing look good. Glee is supposed to sound like overproduced pop that could never come out of the mouths of the actors, so the lip sync automatically looks horrible.
@@d4m4s74 but like why would they intentionally make it horrible. All the actors can sing and sing well. (The show itself and writing a different story)

This movie was not up for the Best Picture Academy Award and I think the FBI should look into it. Something is just to absurd about that.
