Just floating through time, trying to see the patterns.

It's just six degrees of separation. I have lived a life adjacent to success.

Hi Daniel, first of all, thank you for participating in March mystery madness. I am cohosting again this year, and we are honoring Janelle of two fond of books. She passed away suddenly last year, and she was the queen of mysteries. She was also a wonderful person. Didn’t Evan Hunter write the blackboard jungle? I love when authors play with us. I only read about 2/87 precinct books but I love Raymond Chandler and Noir fiction. Shalom and aloha my brother.

Yes. Evan Hunter who wrote The Blackboard Jungle is also Ed McBain who wrote more than 50 87th Precinct novels.
Hope you are keeping well. Aloha and shalom!

You have the best stories. John Williams also wrote his own crime fiction under John Lincoln. He’s most notable for the Cardiff Trilogy.

Ooh, I had no idea. I joined the Rara Avis group again after a 20 year absence to see if John Williams was still a member and to find out of that article that McBain was complaining about was real and what the fall out for getting namechecked in this book would have been.
