I love how you get straight into your favourites, no babbling! I second the recommendation for Cocoa Brown below, it's an Irish brand and the best tan I've ever used and I've tried a lot! The owner did a lot of celebrities tans for the Oscars this year. My favourite product this month is TheBalm Fratboy blush, bought it months ago and wasn't convinced but it's gorgeous this time of year and it's the only blush that is still on my face at the end of the day.
Lily, you are absolutely the best at this kind of video. You manage to be both helpfully descriptive and informational while being succinct and engaging. My face gets the biggest smile when I see a new post from you. Keep up your great work. Would love to see an updated nail polish video from you, covering your thoughts on brushes, formulas, techniques, etc. And as for March, my favorite new item was Sally Hansen InstaDri polish in Love Train, my take on the Radiant Orchid color of the year.
You have hit on one of my tricks as I have not only oily skin but hair as well and that is to use a moisturizing shampoo as a conditioner as it rinses out way easier than a regular conditioner and still has the effect of a conditioner.
One of the ladies I watch here on YT also had an allergic reaction and her lips were very sore. I think someone mentioned to her that it may have been something in her gel manicure. She stopped the manicures and her lips got better! Just reminded me of that. Sometimes you have to think about all the products you are using and maybe not just face ones. Hope you feel better! Great vid as always!
Lanolips reminds me a lot of the Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream. I use that as a lip balm every single night and my lips have never felt or looked softer! I live in Toronto and we've just been through our harshest winter ever, and the 8 Hour Cream hasn't failed me once.
I've been loving True Match too, it's such a lovely foundation! Also, I've had the worst sore lips over the past few months and nothing at all seemed to be working until I tried the Body Shop Aloe lip care on essiebutton recommendation and it's soooo good!! Glad you found something that works for you because I know how you feel, mines were driving me insane!! Great favourites :)
You should try Homéoplasmine for your lips, it's a saviour! But I don't know if you can find it in the UK :/ you will have to come to France then, haha! xx
Loved the video. Want to try the foundation True match now and the stuff from Estelle and Thild. I have a favourite nailpolish from Bobbi Brown it is from the Nectar and Nude collection. I saw it on Essie Buttons favourite video. It is the colour Nectar.
I've fallen in love with the Chanel Illusion d'Ombre in Émerveillé. I still have to use a primer with it, but it's so gorgeous that it doesn't bother me.
hello...Lanolips gave me sore lips, glad its working for you. My march fav is the Argan 5 ultra rich body butter. You can get it in boots. The scent is so lovely
I cant believe people are only just discovering Loreal True Match I've been loving it for years!! Xen tan is amazing it's my holy grail I would highly recommend to anyone. I had the body shop raspberry body butter last year and it smelt amazing like raspberry yoghurt so if the scrub is anything like that i cant wait to try it!!
I'm on my second bottle of Estelle & Thild's Neroli daily moisturizer, really nice and soothing for sensitive/sensitized skin. I didn't know the brand at all when I first purchased it, I just went for it because the ingredients seemed really clean and the "no-nonsense" philosophy appealed to me. The price is also good (32€ for 50ml). I'm definitely going to try other products from them.
My favorite beauty product for the month is mascara from the IT cosmetics from QVC. It is so wonderful!!! Thanks for sharing your favorite products for March! :)
Oh! Also - new faves this month (a combo, actually) It Cosmetics Feel the Moment hydrating primer with Laura Gellar Balance & Brighten baked mineral powder and NYX Dewy Setting Spray. Gorgeous combo.
Hi Lily, try Bepanthen cream. In Germany everyone uses it for lips, minor irritations, and babies. I use it every night before I go to bed and I never have dry lips. They sell it at Boots in the baby section.
This foundation looks great on u! I wash my hair everyday so defo gona check out the ojon co-wash conditioner. Yes plz, updated skincare vid would be nice & more make up tutorials for summer. Love ur videos. Thnxxx
Oh yes - foundation looks great on camera! FYI - just tried St. Tropez bronzing mousse for the first time yesterday - caveat: I'm seriously pale - the guide color may freak you out, but once that washes off, it's the BEST color ever! Brown; not orange! Avid get this: NO SMELL.
Hi Lilly, U should try Zam Buk for your lips! Its a south african all purpose balm and it is amazing!!!! its green n you can get in sa shops in Londonxx
Love your videos! My lips have been awful too, worst I've ever had. I tried scrubbing them with lush lip scrubs and then all sorts of lip balms but not sure if the scrubs were a good idea... Thankfully nowhere near as sore as they were but still pretty dry, I thought of that lanolips but not stocked in the Boots I went to. I want to wear lipsticks again ASAP! Great vid! I thought you looked more tanned as soon as it started! Lovely!
Can you guys get your hands on Laura Geller Products via QVC? Check her products out, loving them right now sooo much. Especially the Balance n Bronze Bronzer. Love!
You should try the Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream or you lips Lily its amazing!! I'd be surprised It doesn't work for you cow that stuff heals absolutely anything.. I swear by it especially on my lips that's what I mainly use it for if my lips get dry! xxx
i'm a new subscriber and this is the 3rd video that i've watched....omg i have been living under a rock cuz i cannot believe that i have just now discovered your beauty channel :)
I don't know if you have it in the UK - but I use a mousse tan by St Moriz in dark and it's got green undertones so it looks really nice and natural rather than orange :)
Lily try the Bite Beauty Agave Lip mask for your lips, you slather it on at night and it really really works (like you I have painfully dry lips that peel and crack)
Gosh darn it your base is looking flawless & glowy again I checked your what I'm wearing and its the ysl... I'm gonna have to cave in and buy that me thinks! ;-) x
You should try Lucas' Pawpaw Ointment - not sure if you can get it in the UK but it's a massive thing here in New Zealand, I swear it helps with the driest lips!
I would suggest to use a lip balm with natural ingredients for your lips, try the one from lavera you can easily find it in Holland and Barret or Whole Foods.
I'll tell you what turned my lips into a horrible dry patchy sore mess... nuxe reve de miel lip balm, that stuff is crazy bad for drying lips out, it seemed to soften my lips for the first day or so then just sucked all the moisture out! :( sucks because I really wanted to love it! It was almost like an allergic reaction :/ xxx
Last winter I had trouble with my lips and nothing would help. A doctor suggested I stop using toothpaste with mint as mint can be an irritant. And within a month, my lips were better.
Hi Lily, did you try Elizabeth Arden 8 hr cream skin protectant for your lips? I imagine it would be very similar to lanolips but no shimmer. Put it on every night before bed.
The Body Shop Raspberry range isn't new, it's very old, they are just relaunching it, same as the blueberry, Brazil nut, peach and lots of others. It does smell yummy though :)
Maybe my comments section is just being wacky, forgive me if you've already answered this question... Your eyeshadow combo is gorgeous here, you listed the too faced palette, can you share which shadow combo you used from it? Thanks!!
i've had really bad lips for a few months now too because of the acne treatment i'm using and nothing is moisturising them! might try the lanolips, if it has worked for you!
I found blistex medi one (in the blue tub) good when I was on accutane. Also, try wearing a lipstick. Sounds odd, but my derm recommended it as it worked as a barrier to stop any moisture escaping. It did work!xx
I just got two Revlon Kissable Balm Stains, and I love them! Such good moisturization (is that a word?) and pigmentation and mmm they are wonderful. I also picked up the covergirl 3-1 foundation and it is beautiful. Does anyone know if it travels well in planes?
Hi Lily, I would love to try Loreal True Match foundation, but the consultant in the shop can't find the right shade for me. Can you please recommend it? My skin colour is NC20 or 25 for MAC. Thanks.
Hey lily this might be an odd comparison to make but how is the loreal true match compared to the ysl youth liberator serum foundation? (Finish, longevity etc) Xx
Hey! Just wondering what eye-shadow you're wearing in this video? I have a color like it but it always ends up in my crease and not on my eyelid! Would appreciate a reply, or it anyone else has a good guess! Thanks :)
Awww I hope you feel better.. We all have those days sometimes, as long as you're ok! Love you and everything that you're doing.. You're alot of fun to watch and I always love your videos! Keep it up beautiful! x
They call it co-washing? Co-washing is a very common thing among the natural afro hair community, it's not something that Ojon came up with. It just means washing with COnditioner.
totally agree Lilo!!! Ive always conditioned before washing and also have friends with afro hair that wash with conditioner so it annoys me when companies try to pen something thats already exsistant!
A lip balm that tastes of cake!?! Love it xx
me too!!! yum!
I love how you get straight into your favourites, no babbling! I second the recommendation for Cocoa Brown below, it's an Irish brand and the best tan I've ever used and I've tried a lot! I really loved the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Mood Exposure this month. Cheek colour and subtle sculpting all in one. It's brilliant.
I've been loving the Kiehl's midnight recovery concentrate and the Aesop parsley seed mask. Together they've been making my skin very happy!
I thought right at the beginning that your hair looked so soft and healthy! Gorgeous and such a high quality video as always, thanks Lily!xx
Loved the nail polish colors! I don't have any colors like that but now I want a pastel lime shade.
Updated skincare routine video would be SO helpful!! Im looking for new stuff for myself so it would be a life saver!
You have hit on one of my tricks as I have not only oily skin but hair as well and that is to use a moisturizing shampoo as a conditioner as it rinses out way easier than a regular conditioner and still has the effect of a conditioner.
I really liked that you just jumped right in to the video. Loved it :)
The blistex blue pot is also amazing for continuously dry lips :)
I really love the way you do your eyeshadow, it makes your eyes look amazing!
Do the skincare routine video, they're one of my favourites. It's always good to see how others prepare their skin and take notes for yourself ;D
Your hair is looking especially nice today! I'm digging all the texture through the ends. :)
Your eyeshadow in this video looks AMAZING! xx

The Bite Beauty Agave Nectar lip treatment works miracles.

Is that lanolips thing kind of like the Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream? In terms of consistency? (Thick jelly/Vaseline)
Hey Lily, you have beautiful eyebrows do you use any special treatments on them or are they naturally that bushy hihihi (::
So if I'm 7.5 for the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk what would my shade(s) be for loreal true match?
How does the Lanolips Golden Ointment compare to the 101 Ointment on dry lips, I wonder..?
Where do you keep your elle magazines cause I never know where to stash Them? ;)
I had a dry lip allergic reaction from the Almond oil in my cleanser, it's an awful feeling!
