The Sd.Kfz.234/4 is one of the more vicious TDs in War Thunder's German tank tech tree. It is also known as the Pak Puma. It's fantastic, but the teams are less so.

I play this mostly in 5.7-6.0 games where I face fewer KV tanks and it tends to find more targets it can pen at that BR rather than at the heavy-tank-infested 4.7 range.
Yeah i got my firdt nuke with puma while playing 7.3 match and i was uptiered to 8.0 at that br nothing has armor so puma can one shot everything

Hes just like me. Funniest moment was when an enemy and I somehow drove right past each other without realizing, sat next to each other for like a good 20 seconds before I realized he was there lol
I have spent entire matches next to an enemy sniping down onto a point
bout a tank span between us and a bush, neither of us noticed each other till roundabout the end
Decided to ignore him till he'd notice and try to shoot me

It's rather typical for many players.
For example, I liked to watch Viper videos about Age of Empires 2. The contrast between very high skill and genuine MISTAKES which feel like "last 2 brain cells" moments is a cool spice.

I gotta say, they Halo sound effects right around 7:00 is perfect. Took me a second to realize the engine sounds were a Warthog. That entire scene was very well done.
The editing was top tier
Only thing that would've made it better is using the Gauss cannon sound for the gun

The Halo sound effects During that one segment of the video were really cool someone who knows how to make mods should totally make that a sound replacer mod it would be sick
They did something to the traction of all wheeled vehicles. I tried taking out my mg puma with the black camp but it immediately got bogged down and was only cruising at 30 kmh on a roadway.I noticed they also have some serious jitters now. Like I’m constantly on a jagged bumpy road even when it’s flat terrain.
I’ve noticed this too. Off road traction has been nerfed on some terrain, some even inexplicably so.
Yesterday with the M13 MGMC if that counts as wheeled. I was supporting my team against CAS and then they melted. Road would not let me get out of Dodge when I realized I was now on point.
Yeaahits so annoying. also happens to my AMX-13s sometimes.
Having that happen with my Ratels a lot too. Sometimes im on flat ground, and i cant accelerate past 8kmh, until i get a hill and jump up to 15kmh, somehow

Until one plane is in the air and like most open tops becomes useless. Because Gajin thinks planes are a ground vehicle.
Plus the 20mm puma isn't even that op now considering they nerfed it into the ground.

That Crusader AA is UK's strongest and most situationally aware player.
Funny cause usually UK tankers in WT are pretty good. Especially the higher up in BR you go.

This makes me sad as a UK player. Our tanks are so shit we have to develop better skills to compensate.

With the LOSAT being added through the crafting event, and that you did a video about it IRL about a year ago, I think a WT video on the vehicle is in order to see how it plays.
Too bad nobody but tryhards will get it, as the event is horrifically grindy and RNG-dependant.

6:57 I had my volume a bit too low when I recognized the Warthog engine. Honestly that was hilarious along with the HCE warthog run theme playing and H3 banshee sounds. 😂
Yes, a few of the paved roads on that map seem to have the 'deep mud' modifier that half-dry riverbeds also have.
Don't ask me why they did this.

Most countries other than Russia have wheeled vehicles. So what better way to nerft them than to nerf the roads.

it seems like Gaijin's plan to combat complaints about Russian bias has been to add top tier Russian tanks to other trees like Sweden and now the UK, which only adds to the confusion, and I think SB is now the only game mode with somewhat historical teams, although only few players play it with tanks, since it's harder and a lot slower paced. I guess you could try it at least once for completeness sake.
I played top tier SB like a year ago.... and told myself never again. It was like a 8vs8 match and there was 4-5 enemy KA-50s in the air. We couldn't even leave the spawn.
Russian bias for top tier is a result of gaijin rushing to modern vehicles, now russia has the best apfsds round they will ever get, and the only new modern tank they can get is the t90m.
They are just filling every team with cancerous SPAA "tank destroyers" to pander to trash tier players that can't use tanks. Every BR is flooded with W+M1 autocannon garbage and absurdly undertiered tank destroyers with guns that can one shot heavy tanks by just clicking anywhere on them.

I think your error is thinking that Gaijin actually listen to complaints. Look what was needed to get some action on "economy", that effected everyone (although below rank 4 it wasn't such a problem TBH) With everything else the player base is divided, from so called "Bias", to CAS, to maps, to BR splits.... no where near the consensus needed to get any change, so they won't.

Probably one of my favourite TD's in game.
Also, (day 27 asking) you should try the Japanese STA1/2/3/Type 61 (they're all kinda the same), decent mobility, good gun and great sight magnification makes them pretty fun to play.
4:25 the stug did tried to help but that angle was very imposible for the stug to do something significant to the kv xD

You should try the KV-1S next time, it is classified as a heavy tank, but to me it feels more like a medium tank. It's basically a T-34, but better because it has very fast reverse and trolly armour
Yeah, the KV-1S was a down-armoured KV-1 with a new transmission. Basically made it a more expensive T-34

I have numerous screenshots of the after death cam following a plane, with the life time timer reading 13 seconds
That is hardly enough time to decide where to drive to on the battlefield, much less identify that there are a thousand planes in the air bombing the spawn relentlessly
