Scag I've bought three of youlls equipment. If u built a walk behind like the old pro V's with the controls of a swzt and keep the velocity deck and a fx Kawasaki, best walk behind ever
With the Velocity Plus deck you get the best cut vs. the older Vantage design. Wet or dry, tall grass or leaves; the Velocity Plus deck is the best sofar.
What I wonder is ! On the hydros they put permanently sealed bearings On the belt drives they put greasable bearings and they brag about how durable Why not put the best bearings on the hydros Also ?? What am I missing here :)
But...you still get the hand killing grip handles that we all love! That one reason alone is why i dont run scag walks. Its time for scag to redesign their grip handles! Exmark and Ferris are the industry leaders.
Thank you for the feedback Jeff. The grip configuration is something we adjusted with the release of the SWZT a number of years ago. We have received some requests from the field on adding that new setup to the SWZ and/or SW.
Hit the nail on the head mate. We have a 36inch ferris aswell as one of the scags. And the handles on the scag make your hands hurt and wrist hurt after 2 hours of use it shocking also u hit long grass and the scag cuts out and is awkward to pull start again. Ferris all the way for me
You don't need to become a dealer to qualify for fleet. 20% off fleet pricing can be obtained, by on average, purchasing two mowers or more. Your local Scag dealer will be able to provide you for details on how to qualify.
Why can't the swzt have an optional velocity deck? You're losing money. I am buying Ferris because of this lack of deck option. You're known for a great velocity deck. Don't mess with it.
Wdym Scag is one of the best mowers with decks that provides strong, super duty, aggressive, cool, and rated the one the best in the lawn industry that is also good commercial mower
All pricing is set at the dealership level and will likely vary around the country based on things like freight costs and setup charges some dealers might charge.
I Like Walk Behind Mowers
Yes! We have a 32" belt drive. It's been around for 20 years! :)
how much $$??

It looks like with the low underside of the mower where the hydro pumps are would prevent someone climbing over curbs to mow an area.
i have a hard time getting over smal steps with it
I love it because it doesn't allow anything to get to the blades and damage them
i just purchased a SCAG walk behind SFW36-168V , serial #E5600 456. Can you tell me how old this machine is?
The unit in question was produced in 2009
SWZTs in 52 inch now? Awesome!
I love my scag swz!
You guys have 32 I didn't know that. Last time I check 36 was the smallest deck you offered
Can I just buy the Scag from you. Or can I just become a dealer so i can get some sort of fleet pricing🤭

We appreciate the feedback on the SWZT and have noted it for our product development team

I’m 13 and I use a 36” must be impressive considering that I know some 16 year olds that only use a lawn boy!
What’s wrong with using a lawn boy?
hey do yall offer a 61 inch for the swzt walk behind
lawnchaser yes they do
No floating decks? Or key start? No thanks
We have the SWZT that is floating deck. the SWZT and SWZ also come with electric start options.
Too weak to pull a cord?
Plus you don’t have to worry about a starter going out too less parts no battery
Can anyone tell me how much a brand new swz 36 cost
Please consult your local Scag dealer for retail pricing information.
Why can’t u just put the prices up on the website like wright does
All pricing is set at the dealership level and will likely vary around the country based on things like freight costs and setup charges some dealers might charge.
So the dealer can charge whatever they want
Technically yes as they are independent businesses and not franchises or owned by Scag Power Equipment.
No anti scalping wheels , no thanks
