      If prayer worked, this wouldn't have happened. No one's homes would have burned. Nothing fails like prayer.

      Sounds like the power of human compassion and good sense. Ability to prioritize, which is to judge. Strictly a human outcome.

      Well, nice to know that you are so gullible. But then the religious are ALL gullible. It's the nature of that racket. And it IS a racket.

      If you believe in the existence of gawds or supernatural forces acting on your life, you are religious and you are gullible.

      I turned up my speakers, suzanne, maybe you can do the same? I know Talmadge has a nice, soft voice. People like that (my husband is one of them) don't yell, unless something is imminent. ;)

      we went for 17 days 2 people and spent $10,000 total - we splurged here and there so one person could prob go for a week and only need like $3,000 if you do everything right :) off grid rental etc

    The Hawaii Civil Defence Administrator is my biggest favorite spokesperson.
    Every time they bring him forward, I keep thinking on years ago when the Iraq governement had 'Bagdad Bob'.
    - There is lava, yes, but not much and there is no thread....We have it under control...-
    In the mean time a huge lava wall is building up behind him.

  • @chrispy104k
    @chrispy104k 6 лет назад +18

    Thomas needs to have a diagram of the fissures and the flows behind him so that he can point to what he is referring to. He is trying to remember too much in his head. Poor bugger must be exhausted.

      those who have lived here a long time don't need these "experts" to let us know what's happening. This is for tourists and mainlanders.
      I dove down there today, couldn't see shit from the road. Local people with phones are covering better, up close and personal. These people don't even get close. They use choppers.

  • @jackstrada5263
    @jackstrada5263 6 лет назад

    If you have to dynamite huge trenches to divert the lava away from Pohoiki beach and the warm pond then do it. Ancient Hawaiians altered rivers to feed water to taro, they altered coast lines with rock walls for fish ponds, so you can't use that excuse. They should have saved Kalapana, now the last surf break on that coast is in jeopardy. If it get destroyed there will be many more kids and people doing drugs because of lack of natural outlets.

    • @jackstrada5263

      sheersheep absolutely possible. But the cheap ass crooked leaders would never spend the money to do it. All taxes go to Oahu and 90% stay there for tourism needs.

    • @punapeter
      @punapeter 6 лет назад

      different island, right?

    • @MrExdous69
      @MrExdous69 6 лет назад

      truthseekers obviously. I was on Oahu But that doesn't mean I didn't spend any time there...
      But the reason I'm not entirely sure this is going to be like all the other eruptions is because everything (as far as natural disasters go) are significantly worse now than have ever been. Hurricanes are coming to places that never get them, they are more intense (it probably won't be much longer until there is a new category of hurricanes cat 6 then eventually cat 7,) since the 2004 Indonesian earthquake, there is a new dynamic. The plate was broken and earthquakes have gotten more frequent and more intense worldwide. Dynamics have shifted... Things are more dangerous than ever as far as mother Earth goes. I don't THINK things will become extreme, but I'm not confident enough that I would put money on it.
