So, from what i can remember, Subterfuge was meant for Vs Sonic.exe, after final escape, where BF would sing against Divides version of LookAlike/Yourself, Since the mod got cancelled, It was then transferred to a 2017X song, which was then referenced in Silly Billy, as a nod to whose song it originally was.

But as far as I know this song was never intended to lookalike or yourself, I would even say that Honkish wasn't even part of the og exe team.
Then we got the official subterfuge teaser about 11 months ago denying the fact that Saster made the song, and that it wasn't for lookalike or Og exe

Actually this theme is inspired from cycles from Vs Sonic.exe and was molded into something different from eye to eye by marstarbro witch is also a bf confronting yourself song, then honkish took inspiration from that theme and molded that into its own thing to, THEN sturm took THAT theme and molded it into his own thing
