When I discovered this instrument (via videos), I also acquired a theremin... without knowing what madness I was getting into. Not only have I never played an instrument, but I also don't master the English language perfectly. And tutorials in French are very rare. So I have to translate everything (thanks Google), and for the videos (even with subtitles when they exist), it's not easy. I admire all the more the talented thereminists that I have discovered.
I'm beginning to see that your left hand controls more than rests and volume. It seems the quality of its "voice" changes with the dynamics, the way you infuse your tenderness. Your playing of this is gorgeous.
