I can really relate to this! Put it back in rotation!!! I sometimes ask my wife which one shall I wear? Today I'm wearing my 'first born' 😆my Casino Royale Seamaster. I also match my watches to my daily outfits.
Just wanted to say that aside from being a HUGE Bond fan (sat in the Die Another Day vanquish little flex, I love that film and car... unpopular opinion, it was my first Bond film)... I've been watching you for years and one thing I love about your channel is your passion for everything you share. Glad to be back for another video!
This video was awesome. I always love seeing people’s passion for their watch collection regardless of its price. The stories, the memories, the connection, the transportation to another place even just for a few seconds are some of the best things about watch collecting. Your Spectre is my favorite (I think) of your Omegas. I’m a big nato guy and I love the classic styling of it. My collection is significantly less costly (like sub $1000) but we get the same feelings when we wear them. I was so glad to see you finally wearing the 60th and making new memories! Also next time you’re in Boston, reach out, I’d love you shake your hand and have a drink. Cheers!
I am a massive Bond fan, however I have never been in the financial Bond watches that have been featured in the movies, my Bond watch is my 37mm Citizen Eco Drive watch.
I’m equally put off by the Omega prices (it’s not they aren’t fair, they just are out of my budget). A Bond NATO works pretty well on any sub $1000 diver and that is how I link myself to the Bond of the movies. Cheers to you all! JR old warrior, even older novelist
Incredible how watches can imply certain feelings while wearing them. I am an Omega fanboy since years and I like to wear anything in my collection. Sometimes I am sporting a Tissot, a Seiko or my white GShock GA 700. feels completely different compared to my Moonwatch or Seamaster. I like to rotate. Makes me feel different everytime. Astronaut in 1969 today. Golf player tomorrow. Diver übermorgen. But if I had to,choose just one watch? My Speedy is it. However, rotating them is constant fun and part of the dream if you are a collector 🎉
I rotate my watches depending on my clothes. Mix and match the colors to coordinate the moment. Good thing with my Omega or Rolex they both can go great with either dressy or casual day. Boardroom to beaches.
Avoid fake watches. Other than that, do what you want and make your own rules. Regarding rarely worn watches, you can also change out the strap to add more variety and make it more appealing to wear. I thoroughly enjoyed watching this video. ⌚
I often fall into a rut of wearing the same watch for 3-7 days, before I have to intentionally switch and wear something different. After getting the 60th anniversary SMP, I wore it for 3 weeks straight, though! Such a beauty.
I agree, a rotation is key to happy watch wearing. The problem I find myself having is wearing two watches. One for data collection, a smart watch, and one for pleasure (an omega).
I definitely match watches to outfits or moods, but I typically wear a couple watches a week on alternating days, then switch to a different pair for the next week. Keeps things fresh!
Ive been wanting an Omega bond watch for so long but have not been able to find the perfect one for me. I love the spectre 1 but cant find it for a decent price and is so small. The 60th anniversary ive been on a list for like a year. I hope i find one that i connect with a lot.
Nice vid David, my favourite watch is the (my only omega) omega seamater 300m professional from Casino Royale, I can see you don’t have it yet (2200.80) are you going to collect one in the future ? Keep up the good work 🙂
Bought the Tudor Ranger on the steel bracelet recently after much research. For those of you that do not know this brand, it is owned by Rolex. It has lineage and is a homage to the Rolex Explorer, which was worn by Ian Fleming and his character, Bond...James Bond in the Thrillers. The movies are great fun; however, I am a purist and love the 14 novels by Ian Fleming, not the interpretations of Bond, post Fleming. David, Sorry I missed you in Boston.
My brother, you should also get the Sean Connery NATO strap for the Spectre you won't regret it. I tend to rotate my watches to match the outfit along with the mood or mission for the day. Best wishes! 🙏
I'm a Casio guy and have been since childhood. Have the W-218H for rough work and the Casio Royale AE1200 as my leisure watch. I will undoubtedly purchase a 3rd!
Couldn’t agree more. Which makes it difficult to post any profound comment… Alas, one question arose: Why don’t you own the Omega Moonwatch ? It is my grail and as an Omega fanboy which I am too, I purchased it for the sake of 1969… 😎
I bought this popular video watch from MaMaCoo , which was originally priced at a few thousand dollars, but now it's only $380! It's really suitable to pick up feces!
The Qos PO is the best watch in your collection, That watch can literally do everything. If you only could keep two I say Qos Po & Skyfall Aqua Terra or Qos PO & CR PO.
I love when you do a watch review. I am also a huge Omega fan. I love to visit my Omega friends at the Short Hills Mall. Maybe one day we can an Omega watch review together.
I just purchased the Goldeneye 2541.80.00 second had, had a full Omega service on it. Can’t take the thing off lol, need to get back into rotation lol.
Is this the Bond Experience or the Omega Experience?? David, Omega is undoubtedly your preferred brand of choice, However I'd like to less emphasis & bias to predominantly the Omega brand all the time. Bond has worn various branded time pieces. Give the vintage watches more air time please and show case the other equally relivent brands to Bond, such as Rolex & the Seiko's etc . 🍸
@@phmwu7368Yeah! Going forward it would be something new & different to have Bond drive a Bentley. The fixation with Aston Martin just because they're an established sponsorship partner is a little old too. Especially the DB5 No contemporary agent is going to drive a 60+ year old car. Moore had Lotus so it has already proven with other car manufacturers.
My undergrad thesis for my International Business degree was on Omega's history and more specifically their rebranding in the 1990's, becoming the watch of James Bond starting with 1995's GoldenEye, revisiting their role in the Apollo missions, and being the official timekeeper of the Olympics. This coincided with my study abroad program in 2012 visiting the Omega museum and factory in Biel Switzerland and getting to meet with their Chief of Marketing. Many know 2012 was the 50th anniversary of Bond and the impending release of SkyFall later in the year was part of my final presentation. Those Omega watches produced in that period and for the films are simply unmatched.
I'm a bond fan not the biggest bond fan but a fan David is the perfect example of positive fandom

Nothing wrong with that. Enjoy your watch while watching some Bond.😎👍
Same here, I have an eco drive that looks like a take on an Aqua Terra. One day I hope to purchase an Omega
amzwatch Literally the happiest place we men are!
Changing out to nato straps of varying colors and patterns and then back to a metal bracelet really keeps my collection feeling fresh. Great video.

Brilliant vid, would love a frugal bond episode on alternatives to Bond watches. Perhaps another collab with Urban Gentry????

David love the watch videos! Miss my Omega Seamaster 2531.50 Soo much! Keep wearing that Bond classic!
Loved this video!!

I know how you feel. I feel the same about my fleet of favorite daily drivers. Regards Newcastle Australia
Great video! I'm guilty of favoring one or two of mine as well
I love Brosnan’s Seamaster
Awesome video, thank you David.
I definitely match watches to outfits or moods, but I typically wear a couple watches a week on alternating days, then switch to a different pair for the next week. Keeps things fresh!
The Skyfall Aqua Terra has the most beautiful blue dial I've ever seen on a watch. It is my daily wear watch.
Ever since I bought a watch from MaMaCoo , My question is if it's this hard to tell them apart, what is the point of owning an authentic watch?

Go for the Quantum of Solace Planet Ocean. Trust me, it’s a one watch and done purchase.
Are you in the US, I’ve seen them for less than retail here in the UK

the car figure, where is it from?
I love nato straps and i love the spectre one, amazing watch my favorite. I don't know why but nato straps can make watches look elegant.

Rolex doesn’t own Tudor. Rolex & Tudor are both owned by the same non profit foundation.

What colour is the nato strap of Sean Connery?
@@davidbarr8698 Olive green, red, and black. Looks great with olive chinos and black polo for example. 😉
The child comparison was comedy gold 😅🤣😂 I hope your kids are okay !

Nico Leonard , a luxury watch dealer, LOVES Casio. “God tier”. I’ve got 3 Casios. Great watches

Casio ae1200 aka the Casio Royale. Enough said 👍
You don't use a watch winder? I have 4 Omegas, 2 of them sit on a winder when I am not wearing them so they are ready to go when I grab them.
I can't think of a better theme for a watch collection than Bond. Nicely done.

a speedy would make your collection perfect

Great video, David. Classic 'The Bond Experience'👌
I thought you were going to show us the gadgets that are in the watches , especially the live and let die Rolex watch ⌚
2 OR 3 WATCHES OOOHHH I HAVE OVER 200 WATCHES 😮😮😮😮😮😮
30th Omega Seamaster Bond watches coming up but British author Ian Fleming wore a Rolex Explorer 1016 gentleman's wrist watch!
❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
I have just enough watches so that if i switched them out every day.... I'd wear them each twice a week. 😂.
Rolex Explorer.

Sell off all your amateur Omegas (high school brand). Keep your Sub. Done
Ah...just the reverse my friend, just the reverse. The only acceptable Rolexes are the Goldfinger Sub and the 36mm Explorer.
@@highdesertforester even Brosnan told Forbes a 36mm watch is for women.
Did you not know about Ian Fleming and his Explorer 1016… a 36 mm Rolex. 🥂
His wife wears the Rolex, also those Omegas are great.
