Why is everyone talking about Jayson Tatum? Jaylen Brown was the real star of the Celtics last night, dude was straight up killing on offense and defense.
They’re both getting the credit. It was a great team win everyone played a part
Exactly. In moments when Tatum seemed to have shrunk or gone missing, JB was out the balling
@@MRLONG758except in OT. When the game was won. By Tatum.
@WookieHairSurgeon should have never got to OT to begin with. JB saved us.
They were both great, jrue was better than both of them if you ask me .
Jason Tatum 36 and 12 didn't have a huge night. Anthony Edwards 6-24 in game 7 he's the face of the league now.
there's such an agenda
Agenda pushing, it's sad
He was literally throwing the game in the 4th 0 points in the finals 9 mins of the 4th
But he has such a “ dawg mentality”! 😂 such an agenda
Refs made sure he got enough chances to actually make a big shot. Biggest playoff choker
I just love how there can be an hour long dissertation on how much Indiana F-ked up the last 10 seconds.
That should tell you who the media want to win, it’s such a great story line…they are literally trying to embarrass the pacers into playing smarter…
True but the magnifying glass is bigger in this situation
ESPNY still salty that we knocked their Knicks out of the playoffs lol
@@mikeythompson7777still talking about that series cause you know what’s gonna happen with this one🤣🤣

I tgink they were talking about hali didnt have a good night
Plus Ant scored the 5th most points, with Joker, Murray, McDaniels and KAT out scoring him in a game 7 yet he’s compared to MJ and Kobe. I’m a huge fan of his and he’s the best 2 guard and a top 20 player but they need to pump the breaks. They WANT him to be the face, making unfair for others if they win MVPs and more importantly titles before him. MJ and Kobe were a lot more mature at age 22. I feel like Ant can never win a title or a Finals MVP and they’ll call him the face. And I like Ant.
Kat was clearly the best player in that game... who says ant was?
NO-ONE was saying Ant was the best player in game 7. Not even himself. You're just making stuff up lol.
@@KingCarolina_ How is Ant not mature? Please give us examples, I'll wait. Ant denied the MJ comparisons himself, it's not his fault people say it. The dunks that both have done is very similar, and the way he carries his team is similar to MJ. And, people were comparing him to MJ and Kobe previously, no one has said it since after game 7, why are you trying to use game 7 as a strawman excuse? The way he motivates the team is Kobe/MJ energy as well, and the way he carries himself. He's a impressive young man.

@Joomlahacks Cope Harder crybaby. 😂
So, this couldve easily be called a Celtics choke as well. Do remember that Boston turned the ball over several times late. Tatum threw a pass to nobody, Brown turned it over, White goes to launch a 3 pt and gets blocked from behind. He also missed a layup and Tatum missed a 5 ft fade away. So.....the Pacers played well and Brown just hit a desperation shot.
Literally
you forgot they literally got outplayed and Pacers choked... and the refs handed them 20 more free throws in regulation... or it wouldn't have been close. really 3 free throws for the Pacers I could see 4 or 5 obviously hack fouls that weren't called not including Brown literally only being able to defend by pulling players jerseys
“Tatum had a bad game”
36/12/4/3st
Haliburton wanted to lose even more than Tatum did
Pacers had 3 total free throws at the end of regulation to Celtics 23, that's wild. Pacers blew it, they gave it away like they were trying to throw the game
Nah what’s really crazy is the Pacers had 21 turnovers that led to 32pts. Now that’s crazy
@@bmont170 And the celtics had 15 turnovers leading to 21 points. Don't act like that's anywhere close to the FT differences.
@@cactusmanbwl1990 That's still an 11-point difference. The Pacers tend to foul a lot; their version of defense isn't dirty, but it's full-speed crashing around. The C's are often on the wrong end of free throw comparisons, but this series favors them, there.
36 points...not a big night?
he missed several shots late in the game and had a bad turnover late at half court that could have costed the game. Alot of points were scored early on. Bailed out by Brown!
@@zrussom998 even after everything you typed. He had 36 and 12. Any other player is getting their knob polished on espn after a game like that.
He had 26 points in regulation where the game should have been lost if not for terrible Tos by IND and a bail out 3 pt shot by Brown. Brown misses that shot do we still think Tatum had a good game? Explain
@zrussom998 clearly you didnt watch the game. He was carrying the team in the first 3 quarters. Everytime he was sat our bench struggled to be useful. “Tatum didn’t have a huge night” is crazy. He was good through 3 quarters. His 4th quarter was not good at all that’s the truth, but he woke up again in OT. Game shouldn’t have been that close though tbh, JB couldn’t maintain the decent lead when Tatum was out the game. He made up for it with that clutch shot and Tatum made up for his boneheaded plays in OT. This is gonna be a good series, I’m gonna stick with my prediction of C's in 5 but I expect all games to be close. I wouldn’t be surprised if Indiana comes out with their black magic 3 point shooting in Game 2. That’s what’s happened in every game 2 this playoffs against the celtcis
“Tatum didn’t have a huge night”…if 36/12/4/3 isn’t a huge night then I’d love to see what they consider is one lmao

36 points, 12 rebounds double/double not a huge night??????
Mannn, Pacers had it in their bag. Credit to the Celtics for hitting the shots, but they where given way too many opportunities by the Pacers fumbling the ball three times inexplicably.
For all of y’all who are on here talking about the hype that the media is doing to Ant is the same hype that they did to MJ they just want to protect his legacy and they want Ant to be that but he would probably fail. When you see the media lying about Tatum saying he didn’t have a huge night just remember all the times they have do it with Lebron and hating on him and blaming him.
finally someone hit upon the the fact that Mc Conell blew a defensive coverage assignment on that play- if he switches onto Brown and flares to the corner he makes Hollidays pass more difficult and he's in better position to foul before a shooting motion can take place- now it's Horford that's got to make this shot
That guy's a joke.. 36 pts 10 in OT ain't big ?
Greeny over here stuttering like a mf
The bench was really the difference for the Pacers, 30 points for Indiana and 13 for Celtics. I love the Celtics as a homer but the bench really needs to step up if they are gonna put the Pacers away in these close games without the heroics of Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum.
Sam definitely goin be better like worries me tho
Facts, I think the bench is the biggest culprit as to why the game was as close as it was. Tatum had a great third quarter and he sat down when they were up 13. The bench came in and squandered that lead. If the Celtics lost the game, I think that stretch is where they truly lost. They gave the Pacers new life and from then on, everyone knows that in tight 4th quarter games, things can swing drastically.
Hauser CANNOT handle the spotlight. PP is too small for an athletic team like the Pacers. Luke gonna Luke. Hope Tillman returns maybe he can slow down their bigs.
