@@omicronceti6063 Hey! So I think this may take a loooong time to happen. Feel free to watch the video linked above in my comment, but I do feel that blockchain may significantly alter much of our IT protocols that we have had in place for decades. More Cybersec jobs will be in the realm of blockchain engineers who can protect infrastructure in that way. I took the digital form of messers course, and to me, it worked just fine! I listened to his audio book pretty much 24/7 (or at least during the day) and used his practice tests a lot. I cross referenced between his book notes and the Comptia exam objectives you can get from the site. Printed these 2 out, and wrote everything I knew about each objective, and if I didn't know it, I knew I had to review more. I could see about making a video for this possibly!

im in school for cybersecurity right now and my teacher is just.... only reading powerpoints word for word and not explaining or drawing from experience (if they even have any). Any ways, I'm supposed to graduate this summer and want to get 501 before it disappears. I really don't trust the courseeork from my school because it seems out dated. 5+ years outdated. I feel like it's been kind of a waste and that I've basically been teaching myself for the past 3 semesters. I don't really want to spend money on other materials 😭 but i want to pass. Even though I'm in school for this, I still feel like i know nothing. just how to memorize answers but not how to apply them. I guess I will purchase p.messor after all.
My exam is this Tuesday. I plowed through 500 pages of “Get Certified Get Ahead” in a week. And I got 77% correct on the end of book exam. Tomorrow is review day and I think I can pull off 85%

@@KnuteFosso I think it’s a $99 now but no big deal. I just wasn’t sure should I go for digital or physical copy first. I think digital is just fine.

I also did the 19 hour long SYO-501 video series from Mike Meyers and I have a few hours of professor messer in.
I personally loved Professor Messer's course, I found it easy to follow along with and study to. How did the test go?
