Pretty spot on my dudes... just remember the only thing going for ATL is QB who supposedly has receivers now... except he had one of the best in the game (Jefferson) in MIN and still couldn't win stuffed animal at carnival if he tried. Now national press says ATL suppose to win the division and challenge for the SB... 🤮 please!

At the end of the year they learned to compete and win. Before the Lions playoff game, they were 7-1 going into the game. They had the least turnovers in the league and managed to get 48 sacks on defense. When they were losing, they didn't turn on each other and try to blame each other. They took accountability for their losses. They matured through the season. They knew what their weaknesses were. They couldn't run and they started to get the pass game going instead of wasting first and second down on forced run plays. The defense couldn't stop the pass. They needed a lead to be comfortable. When behind they played scared. Don't know why. They quit taking risks.
Boy - I don't have to say much here. Mostly just thought I'd say coach Bowles(and Jason Licht) went out and got players on D that fits his system. That was the reason for the Carlton Davis trade.
The schedule is a bit front loaded. I'm mostly scared of the Lions; partly, because I'm worried about whether the Bucs O has got Coen's O figured out yet. I really wanted the Lions week 1. But, week 2 will certainly tell the tale on the Bucs.
I think Bucs will beat the Lions!

Bucs fan here I think the ceiling for the defense is much higher than the ceiling for the offense.
With that, the floor for the defense could potentially be very low with the youth upfront however, having Todd Bowles dictating the schemes on defense, I think that they will surprise some people . Bucs NFC South Champs 2024
Then the Bucs lost to Detroit in the playoffs by 8 I'm not sure if it was a brain lapse on part of the coach or if the coach didnt know he had a timeout or if the coach gave up. But it was on the coach he didn't call a timeout tongive the team a chance to win or at least tie the game.

I'm not sure about the first half of the season but Atl and I believe Lions last year were both losses from our defense. Both games Baker brought us back to tie or lead and within 1 min left the defense let the other team score the winning score. The Atl and Houston game was with under 1 minute

I've heard record predictions from 3-14 to 6-11 from NFL insiders but I hope they surprise a few critics and retake the Division.

Lots of national media are sleeping on how good Wr Jalen McMillan is going to be. He played through a MCL last year but lead the team in ‘22. He is better than Polk and about as good as Odunze. He should be WR3 this year and probably replace Godwin in the slot next year.
As a Bucs fan, this is so refreshing to hear. Every other media outlet just crowns the falcons and thinks the Bucs just suck for no reason. Hell Mike Clay said the Panthers had a better offensive supporting cast than Tampa. Dude gets paid big money for that take.

Hat's off to Licht for getting Baker at starting QB's pocket change in the NFL when the Buc's had 80 mil. in dead money. To find a healthy, 1st pk, howitizer armed , Heisman w/po experience success at the NFLs laughing stock "Brown's" who left Baker on the bench for 2 and half games and still breaks Payton Manning's rookie TD all time passing record. I've never seen a QB fire up a team like Mayfield. Looking forward to Tampa Bayker II
