so weird that the master sword is always built up as this awesome cool legendary weapon and then the hylian shield is usually just some random afterthought that you end up finding in the most obscure spots
Well tbf the Master Sword is actually godlike and usually necessary to defeat Ganondorf, the Hylian Shield is pretty much just a random strong ass shield.
The chad Hylian shield from Skyward Sword on the other hand was a challenge to obtain
I can understand the Hylian shield being found in a random spot with certain context like it being a cool relic that you just found like "oh neat."

Link doesn’t even use the hylian sheild int he prologue he went with just the master sword same with botw
I really think the hylian shield should be a main quest or even a side quest.
Same with everything Link wears in the advertisement. Having to search up how to look like link from the trailers online is weird. In BOTW you gets the Champions Tunic from a main quest

In Links/ Zeldas house if you jump in to the spring behind the house you find a diary that says that a new clothing for link has been made on the throne saal in hyrule castle
Finding this on my own was so satisfying. At first I went to the original location in BoTW but saw the nope hands and yeeted. Here I just climbed the big rock and evaded them easily, plus the unlit brazier was very suspicious.
I mean, that’s how you unlocked a shrine in BoTW, so people who remember would try it again to see what happens this time. Luckily, once you get the Hylian Shield and Royal Fabric, you no longer have to visit those hell hands ever again.

Dude, i met them when i only have 4 hearts. I managed to kill them then the phantom ganon bop out from nowhere and swept me like a btch
I met whilst I was walking up mount lanayru and I genuinely shit myself.
I ended up finding one at random just exploring andwhaen I saw it I just kept screaming "WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT WHAT IN HYLIA NAME IS THAT WHAT YHE FUCK WHAT THE FUCK"
and if you kill them a phantom ganon spawn GL found this by solving the labyrinths with 5 hearts
At first i saw them in the depths, i was about to get a lightroot, so i didn't want to use brightblooms. Then, out of nowhere, those guys pop up and jumpscare the crap out of me, and i tried to run, but they're like twice my speed because why not and i died
They just like the guardians from botw, but more faster and scarier, even the music is more terrifying, but the guardians is just classic
I can't believe they removed the durability up (140) version of the shield...
If you feed the shield to an o to rock near death mountain (the ones that suck) they fully repair and give a random bonus to it!
What happens if you break the hyllian shield? Can you get it back?

I just gliding down to the docks underneath, scaled the rock around and climbed up from underneath to the brazier to avoid those creepy hands

I did it incredibly easy.. Iuno why either but I shot one fire arrow at the scary hands then climbed a boulder & I think the game glitched because they ended up dying randomly while waiting for me at the bottom.. this was easier than BOTW xD
@@SEANLIGHTZTV Yeah it's not a glitch, for some reason they are meant to die out of sheer boredom if they can't reach you, now, if you do kill them properly...
Apparently you could just shoot the hands with an arrow and they'll die instead of having it chase you. It gave me a dark clump item.
as zelda went back in time and became the light dragon, doesn't that mean she wouldn't have been there for the clamity or with link, so there would be a new timeline right?
No because that takes place before she time travels. Calamity happens, good guys win, Zelda and Link investigate underground, then Zelda goes to the past and becomes Dragon, meaning there would actually be two Zelda's at one. One a princess and One a dragon, and Dragon doesn't interfere to not mess with the timestream.
Yes but that would be a new timeline,it may have similarities to Botw but it isn't the same time line,in 2 words; multiverse theory,it isn't the same time line, it's a different one, meaning that there is 2 timelines,one that each have their own aspects,and in the timeline zelda went back in time,maybe calamity Ganon never existed.

1 in BOTW and the one on Zelda's Head. That means there were 2 Master swords ASSUMING Dragon Zelda actual lived centuries

No they restore once you head back to the surface in the daylight

Honestly kinda not worth the hassle since every piece of equipment is just brittle trash that will break and be gone.
Probably has another npc that sells you the shield back like in Breath of the Wild but then again it'll be expensive and break again
bro my hylian shield lasted 150 hours surfing parrying guardian’s literally everything. it’s well worth it.
hylian shield is extremely strong. Are you smoking something? every shield broke but this one broke after a long time. second it is not that difficult to get. Third you can fuse things to make it even stronger. Even botw, it is very strong.
