Beautiful knife. But is that handle just glued on? None of those decorative pins go through the tang not are the buttcap pins structural. Will that handle hold up long term. Absolutely beautiful though.
Thank you very much 🙏 the handle is glued with epoxy glue then the silk goes through the 2 pieces of wood cast in epoxy as well. The nails are just there for decoration. This handle will never move 😉👍

6:45 This is going to sound silly, but you need a 2 headed hammer. 8:10 What happened? Not hot enough or too much squish? 15:50 I have no idea if this would work, but if those 3 little holes were still a little abrasive inside, I bet you could pour a red-colored clear epoxy (TotalBoat) into them for a splash of color. Cool-looking blade.
Hi! 6:45 I only need one tool to split otherwise the feather pattern would be in both directions. 8:10 I think I crushed too hard which made my soldering burst (I was so happy not to do it by hand anymore that I was too greedy). 15:50 yes it's possible it's a good idea. @@boulderdashforge I was trying to say in order to get the piece off of your chisel splitter, you need a hammer with 2 heads that are a couple inches apart so you hit down evenly from both sides. I was trying to be cute by half. The only part of the blade I worry about is the hard 90s at the small tang. I never saw a close-up to see if those corners were rounded. I'll subscribe, you keep producing cool stuff. Deal?
