Back in my college days I made friends with an ex-priest who had fallen in love with a nun, so they were kicked out of the Church and were happily married. I didn't ask where they got married. Anyway, in literature class, we had to read "War and Peace" which according to Google takes about 38 hours to read along with a number of other books, all while taking physics and math classes. The Big G says the Bible takes about 65 to 75 hours to read. So I asked him what did they study for all of those years in seminary? His answer was "A whole lot of stuff that absolutely nobody in the benches was interested in."

You know what a Theology degree gets you in the real world? Maybe, just maybe a managerial position at a MacDonald's franchise.
According to studies by the Alban Institute and Fuller Seminary, 50 percent of ministers drop out of ministry within the first five years and many never to go back to church again (Meek et al., 2003, p. 340). Meek, K., McMinn, M., Brower, C., Burnett, T., McRay, B., Ramey, M., et al. (2003, Winter). Maintaining personal resiliency: Lessons learned from evangelical protestant clergy. Journal of Psychology and Theology, 31.4(9), 339-47.) A Duke University study found that 85% of seminary graduates entering the ministry leave within five years and 90% of all pastors will not stay to retirement. And let’s not forget, someone has to graduate last from seminary too.
*You can't go through four years of seminary college and not eventually come out as Atheist.*

Without me putting in the same kind of effort, my understanding is that there are a lot of ministers leaving the clergy because their benches are filling up with worshippers of the Orange Jesus that don't represent their values
In addition, apparently a lot of the MAGA crowd profess to be devout Christians but don't actually attend church.
I have already seen Satan's guide to the Bible, but it was very well done.
I enjoyed it as well!

I saw this video just yesterday. I really hope this guy makes more. His style is nothing like I've seen before.
The funny thing about the animation style is it is based off the felt art that seems to adorn every Sunday school and every vacation bible school. It's really pervasive. Even my parents had them back in their day. I often wondered if that omnipresent felt art just always existed.

Glad to say I have already seen the film and it is terrific. At first I thought the humorous setting of a Sunday school would wear thin but surprisingly no, the film kept me engaged the whole time, and the student characters are a great source of comedy throughout
What about any of the video was truthful? Jesus came to seek and save the lost. Repent of your sins and trust in Jesus death and resurrection. He will save those who come to him

Isn’t it funny how these kinds of hot topic questions fuel people to jump on board. Please I ask you to read the New Testament. The Bible is clear and will shine light on the falsehood that people seem to spread through their ignorance. People are content with flippantly defeating a straw man of Christianity all the while the real thing looms beside you. Jesus came to seek and save the lost, including you and me. The Bible is a book of revelations and history. These people met with these people at some location and here is what was said and here is who witnessed the encounter. The Bible itself is full of components that when read in context and simple understanding what is happening, sheds a different light than the caricature.

Your interaction with them that brief period of time, is what I've had to deal with for the past seven fucking years with my dad. Him and his side of his family kept saying the most gross and absurd bullshit, then ignored me when I didn't agree.
That was the lynchpin in my deconversion. That and the fact I was learning foundational science in college at the time. Wish you and all the secular community a decent new year!

As a fellow atheist I always take on science and facts, Aron. I appreciate your videos and the promotion of rational thinking. I remember you being with Richard Dawkins when he said that scientific facts didn't care of perceptions or delusions. Well, he supports that a woman is a woman and a man is a man, it doesn't mind what they feel about it, and that the idea that you could choose it freely in your own mind is pseudoscience. I reckon you think otherwise. What do we need to take for real? The evidences of their manhood/womanhood, or their own perception? Doesn't have implications to believe the later?
There is a small but relevant part of our population that feels deeply uncomfortable in their bodies and their social gender, which proved to be so resistant to ‘curing’ via ‘conversion therapy’ that it drove many to further depression, and whence their preferred expression in matched by a social and medical transition, they become much less likely to, for example, commit suicide. No one denies the existence of biological sexes, merely how much weight should we culturally put into them as compared to self-expression of gender.
Likely trans-ness is linked to some minutia of fetal development, so trans advocates generally don’t believe that you can choose your gender, as much as just accept it, even if in spite of your body as long as it alleviates this discomfort.
I agree completely, since even trans people agree that their gender identity is not a matter of choice.
If you "always take on science and facts", you need to brush up on what the scientists working *in the relevant field* have to say on this topic. Hint: they disagree with the famous guy near-uniformly. But honestly, something tells me you already knew that.
@@AronRa I really appreciate your polite response. Therefore, gender identity, which is presumably given against the person's will, is not something observable or verifiable. It is defined in a mental state of the person, which can also be changed several times over time. And that can manifest itself in a multitude of genres. Do you agree with that?

I got lucky and the Satan Bible school popped up in my feed an hour after it went live. It was very entertaining and it looked like a lot of effort was put into the making of it.
I saw it - While I personally did not learn anything, I think this is a very easy resource for people that can't do academic or thorough documentaries or books. This is clear enough that even small children could be very comfortable with the content

That you would ask for more Aron interviews with bible characters makes me think you fundamentally misunderstand what this video is - it's not Aron's thing, it's Aron promoting somebody else's thing.
