I was curious from wikip "The Ramly Burger, also known as the Burger Ramly, is a Malaysian burger created by Ramly Mokni popular in Malaysia. Though the term "Ramly Burger" may refer to any of the hamburgers sold in a Ramly Burger stall, it most commonly refers to the Ramly Burger Special........ ingredients vary greatly depending on location, a typical Ramly Burger consists of a beef or chicken patty, margarine, onions, an egg, cabbage, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce and Maggi Seasoning. "
pernah mkn burger kat kedai ni.unikny telur yang dimasak semuanya ada dua mata kuning.tak percaya boleh pergi tgk sendiri.memg sedap dan berbaloi byr harga burger ni...mesti cuba...!!!
Explanation, from 0:00 - 2:38: Those are chicken burgers, but the Ramly Company also makes beef burgers as well. They've put mayonnaise and black pepper sauce on those eggs, from the look of it. Most burger sellers here in Malaysia put a bit of "Planta" margarine on the grill to grease it before cooking their burgers, but this guy here's put the stuff on the burgers beforehand, while warming them up.
thats a chicken patty, cut in half to make it cook faster and make it have a crunchy texture, the powder is actually tumeric powder, it may vary on the stall.
Explanation, for the rest of it past 2:38: OK, this is different - curry powder (I think), followed by mayonnaise and black pepper sauce, followed by more curry powder after the burgers are flipped. For the "Special" variants here, you get an egg with your burger; here, this guy's sandwiched it between the sliced burger patties. In most cases, the burger patty gets wrapped in the egg. This is but one of many ways that burgers are made here in this country, but why not come round for yourself?
@awaqas006 this was taken in Kluang,Johor,Malaysia in 2010. =) it's all over malaysia, the great and sad thing about ramly's is it's so random, good ones are rare to find.
The white powder: pepper The yellow powder: curry powder The brown sauce: oyster sauce The rare part about this Kluang Ramly Burger: double yolk for each burger with egg Now they add garlic juice (i think) to make it more tasty.
Its depend on the person who make the perfect burger for this ramly brand beef..Taiping also got one best ramly burger stall..try burger akak around pejabat tanah taiping..mantop!!
They are produced specifically for products that require a higher yolk content than your average egg. Having two yolks in an egg is interesting at first but it's pretty common.
most of the ramly burger don't use butter (they did use, but they use lesser) as butter is kinda expensive. you know, they try to earn more. it would be nice if they use butter for everything.
does anybody know what that powder looking thing he was sprinkling onto the burgers is? i know theres white pepper but theres a yeloowish type of thing as well? TK :)
young??okay..i think i'm old enough to take care of myself..and i dont think that its so wrong to eat something to satisfied myself..its not like i eat it everyday..well,thank you very much for your advise mr hairizal..peace..:)
well,i'm married and i have 3 children..is that still young for you??okay, after this i will only eat spinach for my whole life, maybe i will live for 200 years more..is that okay for you??
most "ramly" burger in singapore especially at pasar malam are actually deep fried and kept aside. once customer order they just put on the hot flat pan, flip here and there and tadahhhh.....tips for singaporean who wish to buy, see how it was made. usually the patty will be slice like the above then you got a real deal cook.
This is how MALAYSIAN eat the burgers folks. If you don't like the way it's cook or serve then walkaway because it's very rude to leave comment about how it is dirty and unhealthy. You are not even there, you don't know the ingredients yet you judge so much about it. We don't make a fuss when US eating rice with fork or cleaning toilet using coca cola, pfftt. Sorry to say but these burgers in Malaysia are so good compared to McDonald, Burger King and all.
That's like saying a real carpenter only cares about building great wooden structures with what he has.. Doesn't dismiss the fact a proper hammer would be preferred.
I love how they taste, but cannot deny the fact, that the petty is made from the leftover junk parts of the animal which then compressed and seasoned well
Alex You can actually make your own patty at home. :) Use ground beef. It's what I do because if I had to buy a Ramly Burger outside, I'd have to wait several minutes because people would flood the place just to buy them.
no what are you talking about. malaysian patties are not like american nasty patties. there is an actual quality control and they only use the meat part of chicken
1 egg but two yolks omg there's must be twin chicks in it! :O
that looks really good. never seen anyone butterfly a burger, good idea since i like everything well done

I was just informed by one of my colleagues who grew up on a farm, that the larger double yolk eggs are laid by younger chickens.
Dammit, watching this at midnight sure make me hungry. Damn youtube suggest this to me at midnight.

2 yolks frequently happens with chickens that are well fed.
