Every crash/collapse brings with it an equivalent market chance if you are early informed and equipped, I've seen folks amass up to $1m amid economy crisis, and even pull it off easily in favorable conditions. Unequivocally, the collapse is getting somebody somewhere rich.
I do not disagree, there are strategies that could be put in place for solid gains regardless of economy or market condition, but such execution are usually carried out by investment experts with experience since the 08' crash
The issue is people have the "I want to do it myself mentality" but not equipped enough for a crash, hence get burnt. Ideally, advisors are reps for investing jobs, and at first-hand encounter, my portfolio has yielded over 300% since 2020 just after the pandemic to date.

Personally, I've stuck with ‘’Ellen Geskin Kettle” for 4 years now, and her performance has been consistently impressive. She’s quite known in her field, you can confirm her on the internet.

Great show, Josh and Michael! I had never heard of the Young Aristocrats, but it's an interesting way to invest in dividend-growth stocks, which is what I have been doing for 25 years. So this is another approach to dividend investing that I will now explore. (I am never too old to learn, guys, at 72.) Good stuff!

Loved this one. Just caught up on this pod today. I was of the same opinion when all that noise was going on (Japan carry trade) and bought more nvda on the dip. I bought some china retail since then but not sure where to look from here. I'm just a retail investor and have a 1st home buy coming up, so may have to sell some stocks to make the down pymt and probably shouldn't be making longs at the moment. What would you be buying right now and what would you sell? Too soon to cash out on Tsmc, amd, palantir, and NVDA?
Look at VRT, MU, SMCI, Dell, and even Nvidia. These stocks are down massive, even on 8/9. I mean MU and SMCI are at 12 forward pe, they went as low as 9. If you're in semis, and almost everyone is, the market looks like its dying. In some sense the bubble DID burst.
