This one opens up avenues to what's going on with the revival and even though they are "apart" they are not. They still have this bond and not just with William. I'm sure you saw it in the second ep of this Season 10 revival when she gave him that look of !WFU. It was a moment. And when this revival runs its course, I'm sure there will be stuff left on the table because this isn't the end of Mulder and Scully, not by cloned alien hybrid DNA sequence shot. Can't wait for the next ep and I can't wait to see how they will end it with a cliffhanger or just drop the bomb on something that will bow your mind. Did I mention, good job.
