Man I was just looking for a nice mini amp to carry around and it comes with ALL these effects and features. Definitely a no brainer compared to others.
Excellent!!.. Yeah like this video review, shows the sounds of the amp, plus the drums too.. Cool have to check this little amp out for myself.. Love the sounds.. And it's so mobile too!!
If you connect directly to camera using amp phone line out so how can you hear what you play?i try to used phone out for camera connect but cant hear anything to play
This is my one and only complaint about the amp-I wish it’d been a bit heavier; I mean in weight. Granted, it doesn’t feel like a toy at all. It feels like a serious practice amp. I just wish the cabinet itself had been made of wood or at least a little thicker plastic. I’m wondering if it’d be worthwhile to set it inside a small wooden, form-fitted cavity or box. The sound that comes from a heavier cab is really nice, I think.
Is there a way to add a looper in the chain, post-processing, perhaps via the app? If there was such functionality, it would make this a perfect practice amp!
The only way to use a looper pedal properly with this amp is using the phone output to another looper pedal, then output to another amp. Otherwise, you have to run the looper first, means you can only use clean sounds.....
@@jimmyrocks43 That's too bad! Please ask your friends at NUX to consider adding an insert in a future model. That would make one killer amp. Come to think of it, I would prefer a physical insert to any sort of app, as being able to use their own looper would make it so much more flexible for the end user.
Nice review. thank you for you time. One question, would you recommend it to me? I'm thinking about buying a "micro" amp to play at home. Is this a good option or there are better options?
Consider it's price point and what it's offering. This amp is definitely a good choice for practice amps. Also this amp is the cheapest but most powerful desktop amp in the market right now.
I got the amp, I have some questions. 1. 4:43 My uni-vibe doesn't seem to give that same sound, or maybe I am just bad at hearing it. 2. There is a lot of background noise, It's from my guitar probably, how can I get that fixed? 3. Phones output only plays sound on one channel on headphones. 4. How can I record the audio from the amp like you did in this video?
1. Use the headphone output to get similar tones like I show you. 2. I'm using humbucker guitars, that's why no background noise. 3. Use stereo connection for headphone output. Otherwise you will lose one side. 4. I use the Roland Go Mixer for easy direct recording. With a proper recording APP, of course.
hi jimmy, whether nux mighty lite BT can be installed or arranged from noise gate, od / dist, chorus, delay and reverb. then saved as a preset. ??? Thanks for the explanation.
Great playing Jimmy, and nicely demoed as well. I was wondering while your changing the tone while the track is still playing, can you raise or lower the volume of your guitar separate from the volume of the track?
Jimmyrocks I’m a bass player but want to practice my rhythm guitar chops but don’t want to invest in a regular amp. That Nux is perfect! Now if they make a small amp for bass players? Oh boy, watch out!!😌
In my opinion, I don't think they would come out with a bass version of this. I think they are more focus mainly on guitar products. But I've seen people use this amp for bass. Sounds not bad at all. Just use the clean channel combine with some build in effects. And you also got all the drum machines & backing tracks all that. I think this amp is perfect for practice.
If you want lots of effect, drum machine, backing tracks, go for the Mighty Light BT. But if you just want a good basic tone with a simple tape echo, go for the blackstar. The overdrive tones does sound better to my ears.
My gosh. Great blues licks! I’ve had mine for a week now and I am absolutely loving it!
I fell in love with this amp . Nice review.
Thanks. Great little practice amp for sure.
Buying one like yesterday! Man i wish this was around back in 1984!
Me, too!

Excellent review.. is it possible to copy your preset from mg30 to this amp sir
You doin a Great job ,im lookin for aWay to amplify an acustic to Carry on my belt for buscin , any idea welcome😎😏😀 Rome italy
It's an awesome choice! Also very affordable.
Does it come with an adapter so I plug it into the wall?
I believe it doesn't. At least in my country.
For the U.S or anything that uses a plug-in yes it does come with one
About the recording, you input directly 3.5mm cable from the amp headphone out to Q8HD without or with interface like Irig or something like that?
Direct into ZOOM Q8HD.
If you connect directly to camera using amp phone line out so how can you hear what you play?i try to used phone out for camera connect but cant hear anything to play
ZOOM Q8HD has a headphone output.

I think the weight won't change the tone very much with this amp consider the tiny speaker size.

V100 ❤
I’m sold
Can you connect a distortion pedal or chorus to this amp?
Of course. This amp takes pedals just fine.
@@jimmyrocks43 thank you good sir, I was thinking about buying this amp because it's so portable. I think it'ss perfect for a beginner like me.
Probably the most powerful desk top amp right now!

Hi..can reverb and delay mix together using the app ?
Yes, you can.
My app dont have those settings. Cannot download that app anyone with a few clues
How does volume work if you plug regular earbuds into it?
Great demo! I wonder which one should I get? this one or 8BT or the new one "air"?
Both of them look particularly similar. Any thought?
Might Air for sure!
@@jimmyrocks43 Thank you for the suggestion, seems like I have to pre-order for the mighty air
@@jimmyrocks43 Last question, do you think I should wait for air (which we don't know when will come) or I can go with big brother mighty 20bt?
hi jimmy, whether nux mighty lite BT can be installed or arranged from noise gate, od / dist, chorus, delay and reverb. then saved as a preset. ??? Thanks for the explanation.
You need the App to release all these functions. Available both in Android & IOS.
@@jimmyrocks43 okay, thanks
Nice demo my friend, you sold me on this amp, but I've a question though, can I stream my own music from my cellphone via Bluetooth? Cheers!!!
Yes, you can play your own music or backing track from your smart devices which have bluetooth function.
@@jimmyrocks43 thanks for answering.
@@isaiascastro8821 My pleasure. Glad I can help.

Yes. You can.
For practicing, not taking up space, plus it SOUNDS great for it’s size, and xtra features on the App? This is a no brainer.🤨
Agree! The people from NUX are great. They do listen. They always come out great products with affordable prices.

Jimmyrocks Yeah I think because of the low frequencies on the bass itself it may sound kinda muffled. Great for guitar, tho.🤨
Nux makes a 20w and 40w I can't find anyone selling them??
Check out the demo I made. I'm sure it will be available soon.

Definitely not a spring reverb meister but still a great review.
cant decide to get this or blackstar fly3

I sold my Blackstar Fly 3 and got this........ big difference in versatility.
Satanic Mantra hands down the Nux blows it away........
help guys! used the app but cannot control the amp. Anyone solved this?
download the new firmware to NUX -Mighty Lite BT-Support
tried that..problem is MIDI does not appear in app settings to connect to :(

Way more affordable than the Katana Air
For sure.
Katana Air is the most overpriced amp on the market imo.
I guess because of the wireless system.
