Ideal game for me. This how I'd like to be battling in FPS.
@@NeZversSounds I think it works quite well for what they're going for. I had a great time with it.
shotgun is pretty powerful, blew him to the moon! ive already downloaded the demo and wishlisted the game. Keep 'em coming!
@@ericpatrick9257 That was an amazing shot, wasn't it?! 😂
Melee needs some love, depending on the type should be really quick to swing (ninja), ofcource alot of damage initially but maybe less scaling on level ups, large swing area with knock back or the pitchfork is alot of area in-front and good for holding choke points. (also maybe can kill incoming projectiles)
The other option (or ontop) is to have a quick Melee hotkey that does an instant swap and attack then swap back to your weapon and maybe you could have it reload (a certain amount of bullets?) your weapon either standard or if it results in a kill or maybe as a perk.
You could promote weapon swapping by making it super quick / interruptible, weapons could get re-load when swapped out (make it quicker to swap then wait for reload animation), the first "x" bullets or attacks after being swapped to do "x" % more dmg or have a higher crit chance etc.
You could also go another way if you want to force it and just have Ammo for weapons and either it slowly regenerates when un-equipped (maybe perk) and / or enemies just randomly drop ammo (maybe perk to increase chance of a specific type).
Also talking about "quick" weapons the game could potentially do with a grenade / dynamite and corresponding perks.
Good point, we will look into melee differentiation during Early Access (or maybe even before)
All I did was beef out the sigil and stand at the back of the church aimed out the front door. Spent the last 5 min just standing there. Super cool. I like this game. Kina reminds me of Prodeus(which is f*@king amazing!). My only complaint is the weapon position, I feel like I have the shotgun next to my ear but I can't wait to see where this game goes!
Nice, thanks for bringing this to my attention. You earned my sub.
Thanks so much for the support, buddy!
Tis the season for undead butchery! Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom!
I just started watching your videos a few days ago and I gotta say I love roguelites and the style in which you talk about them and showcase all these different games
Seems like a lot of fun, downloadkng the demo now!
Great to hear you saw one you liked!
I was about to mention the game "Blood", but you did it in the video, I think I have nothing to add :D Having infinite ammo is an interesting choice, but the game is called "bloodshed" so the massacring aspect might be more important than the horror aspect/fear factor.
I have recently played quite a bit of Vampire Hunters, 32 hours to be exact. It's pretty much the same formula. You may want to check it out too at some point. It was so well done.
Thanks for the video mate! I'll check out penguin! Cheers to all the existing homies for liking this enough to get it in front of me!
So glad you enjoyed what you saw, buddy!
Blood. Yes. Also it seems Serious Sam type of game now that its in 3D. When playing "birdview" it never dawned upon me.
Looks like fun.
You’re allowed to have brewski every now and again, Goat.
Lol!
It's from the developer of Halls of Torment.
if this game doesnt have a TON of secret areas its dead to me. :P
You are a workhorse. Keep up the good work
@@OttarVilbergBaldursson Thanks so much, buddy!
That was a nice spooky treat! I'm not sure why they would give you multiple weapons if you can only use one at a time, especially with unlimited ammo.
Even if you get several weapons, you can have different runs by choosing the one to upgrade, but as there is luck in the drops, you might want to alter them during the run (also for different strategies per enemies)
@@didl666 Yeah, I see where you are coming from. I just hate when games "giving you options" also waters down the chances of getting what you want. I stopped playing the OG Vampire survivors after the expansions added so much crap and not nearly enough pool removal.
thats the vilage in RE3
Closer to dusk which was inspired by quake and blood (the game) but pop off, its just my inner nerd talking
Ok ok, I gave it a try.
Not too bad. 20 mins when by in a flash. But personally the perspective made me a bit dizzy. I unlocked a bunch of stuff that sound pretty fun, but I would have liked a bit more than just the 3 upgrade options on the demo. It's fine that you dont want to put everything in, but at least give us a bit of magnesis...
Every time the screen flashes from you picking up experience I thought you were taking damage.
Only issue I see with the game, hopefully they change that, otherwise looks really good and downloading it now
The developer is on it, it's a known issue
@@didl666 thought maybe it was a style they were going for. Old doom had things like that sometimes.
I prefer roguelites over roguelikes.
You're in luck, this is actually a roguelite (with Meta-progression)
Have you tried which fire ?
Oh yes, we've played a lot of it on the channel. I love it. Here's a link to the playlist: Let's Enjoy Witchfire: ruclips.net/p/PLP4uOudUC9S7fOpNMQJJ9tI_FQHqwfMmW
Game looks great but the FoV scares me a little
Is this better than kill knight?
bookmarked in steam
