This show has genuinely rotted my brain. I literally can’t think about anything else since finishing Season 2. I don’t think any one can be normal about this show! Even the actors are so excited and invested in it, it really is just beyond anything on television right now.

I've been a fan of IWTV since I was 11yo, when my Cool Uncle flew over for Christmas. He went to the airport shops and grabbed Michael Jackson's Bad album for my sister and I got this book. My folks had no idea what I was reading (devouring!!) xxx

All kudos to Kristen Dunst for what she made of Claudia in the movie, she IS what I mainly remember from that movie.
But , the series version of Claudia , both Bailey and Delainey have seriously brought that character to life ! Their individual performances of her have been so strong , heavy and inpactful.
I will ALWAYS respect Kristen Dunst for putting her heart and soul into Claudia as a character, despite being SO young. She acted her socks off and it was amazing to watch. Same can be said for Bailey/Delainey too, though they're a bit older, they've taken the same character and really made her really engaging.

Sam carried Jacob through a lot of those scenes. He wasn't really the best casting choice for Louis, in my opinion.

Just everyone watch it as it airs on Netflix or wherever platform in your country. The success of the show relies on viewer count as it airs and not on those who binge watch it after i think. Let's make this show last multiple seasons. 😁

The art on tumblr for this show is so mind blowing! There would be full portraits on that website less than 24 hours after a new epsiode dropped, just the most beautiful work and people casually release it for free! Genuinely such a joy to be a fan of the show purely for the art!

I wasn't sure how I was going to like this reboot, but Sam brings a vulnerability to Lestat that is palpable, and he can compose a sonata with a single look. Can't wait for season 3

Delainey is british?! Omfg she sounds so different to Claudia! She's a really good actress, we're watching the rise of a true star. And so is Assad, so kind and sweet, yet a force of nature as Armand. Kuddos to both of them. And Sam... Sam is perfect, Sam can't do no wrong, he's the Lestat of all the fandom and Anne's dreams.
Delainey, Assad, and Jacob are Brits. Sam is Australian.

The acting is so fine in this show that Im glad as hell they changed the characters looks but not personalities. I mean... Sam is Lestat now, but Assad is Armand for me. I'm rereading the books and I can't keep myself remembering that he isn't Assad aaaaaaaah. AMAZING CREW. The actors are just the best, kudos for the ones casting them, it's perfect. I can't wait for season 03 😭😭❤❤❤❤❤

I just saw the promo for the next season of Lestat as an 80s rockstar wearing this yellow tail coat with fur on the sleeves doing an interview and singing in it, and being every inch the 80s prima donna, and I swear to you, I think it might've been the best effing moment of my life. I wish to update my perception, and add some specificity:
I see a combination of the following -
Any live New York Dolls performance + INXS "Need You Tonight" + 1980s MTV interviews with David Coverdale = how I interpret this entire look, sound, and vibe.
And certainly not Taylor Swift...in any way. Sorry Swifties, you're lovely, but missing historical context.

I’ve been a fan of the books since a was a teenager and the hold that this show has on me since 2022 it’s insane, like I know all involved in this are putting some type of drug on it because there’s no logical explanation for how with just two seasons they have consumed my life.
And THIS leads to Queen of the Damned with Queen Akasha 💀❣️🖤🧛🏾🧛🏻♂️🧛🏾♀️🧛🏾
i really hope they somehow manage to bring back claudia. i think my idea scenario would be one episode where we have lestat dealing with the loss of her, being kind of haunted by her, seeing her everywhere, and getting flashbacks to special moments they shared outside of louis, because they only ever got one, and it would be a dream to have a couple more. but I'm not greedy, like i'l take just the one episode
lestat being haunted by her happens in the books, so its very likely that will happen in the next season as well! and since they are kind of promoting the new season now and the actress is still there, i do like to believe at least a "dream claudia" will happen for at least an episode next season!
Tbh I'm hoping Ghost Claudia just pops in to snipe here and there throughout the season. Definitely would be a missed opportunity if they don't bring her back somehow.
This show is criminally underrated and is currently hands down the best written show on television/streaming

I used to be so obsessed with Anne rice as a teenager and after watching the 1990s movie and queen of the damned with Aaliyah, I have been waiting for a real adaptation and this show is everything teenage me dreamed. Even when it comes to Claudia, I was disappointed that they changed her actor but the new actresses performance as Claudia just blew me away. I can’t wait to see lestats side of the story, I don’t want to give any book spoilers but season 3 is gonna be outstanding if they carry on putting out quality content.❤

I got to see their panel at Comic Con and they were all so awesome! It was so cool to hear the passionate fans screaming and cheering. The show is seriously such a work of art and deserves a lot of praise. It does such a wondeful job of speaking to the audience intelligently and thoughtfully. I can't wait to rewatch it with retrospective knowledge of season 2 to catch new meanings and find more easter eggs 😍 amazing.
When I say I am so obsessed with this show. Finished both seasons in two days and when the last episode ended I immediately started it back up at S1E1 to rewatch it. ❤ I can’t get it out my mind
It is incredibly rare to experience a show that has been reworked with such care and character development. I am stunned after I watch each episode… it’s funny because I never liked the movie or the story. Love it!!!! Keep em comin!

i dont know what AMC took away from this interview because literally the 1st 5mins is the interviewer making it plain that not enuf people know or have seen the show. the sheer quality of performance and execution that has gone into this show, it needs to be marketed a gazillion times better, i'm talking Rings of Power level cause if that level of utter BS can be marketed to that extent then i dont know what gems like this show deserve.

Honestly this show is by far one of the best tv shows that’s ever been created. Season 2 takes it to heights I didn’t think were possible, the heart, the soul, the creativity that drips through it is beyond incredible. I’ll be real for a moment and say this year has been a very hard one with my mental health and one particular episode really brought be back from the negative thinking and behaviour. It was free therapy and my god, it hit me so hard. Cannot wait for the third season!!! ❤

i love this cast. theres something about them that feels so down to earth. they are so honest, so true to themselves and their characters, they love the show so much and you can not only see it, but feel it. i cant really explain it better but they have such a diff vibe from other casts. not shade to anyone, theyre just so special. im so happy for them and the show finally getting the recognition it deserves. and i love the actress playing claudia. she is so talented, so sweet! she nailed the role. so excited for the new season aaaaa!!!!!

Delaney depicted Claudia so well. I hated Claudia until ahe came along and just when I started to appreciate her they took my girl out. Sam IS Lestat. Ive never seen him embodied so organically before. And he is SO easy on the eyes.
