Thank you! I would love to see those 1:18 figures of yours. I need a good 1:18 body with great articulation for a project of mine. Any suggestion? It will become the third Ape Squad member, you can check my IG to see first 2 😊
@@wilcapoeira although they're not as good as yours i wish i could show them i don't have a ig but i would make one to see your ig and give you a follow! I recommend marvel universe figures and the Vitruvian Hacks 1:18 scale blank figures
I use fabric glue a lot. But on jumpsuits which I already cut quite fit and rely on their elasticity to be skin tight, I feel that a thread secures things better. On high stress points (crotch, arms and torso) I would use thread 100%. The sleeve end, I simply glue it 😊
Hi! This is just part 1. Next is the shorts. I only do the essential, what is not gonna be seen, I don’t really put that much work in it. Boots will cover the feet, gloves the wrists and there’s cape and headsculpt. We just need black suit to be tight
Yes sir! Fabric glue for sewing. It goes away with some water after you are done. It barely holds the thing for you while you work on it and then goes away. In following videos I will use permanent fabric glues also, but this blue pen is specific for this task.
It’s sewing glue pen. It holds the cloth for you just enough to do the job. Any residues goes away with some water and a cotton pad. Oh and it won’t affect your needle at all. I literally store my needles at the end of the day as if I had not used any glue.
Hi! It’s black polyester but I cut this one from a sports tee I was not using at all. Once that source was over I bought some raw polyester fabric from a store and it’s not the same 😑 It works but doesn’t feel as good in hand.
I don’t recall the name of it in english, I believe “back stitch” is what I usually do. Make a single stitch in and out of the fabric, and then go back with the needle to a spot before the previous stitch came out. Then bring your needle one stitch ahead of the previous one. That’s for the pieces that will suffer articulation tensions. Other areas that are not in such places, you can use a simple one.
A few notes or footnotes would be helpful as you go along. The video is really well done, but I think that would help make it more understandable and clear for us noobs.
Definitely. I’m learning through this RUclips experience too. Sometimes it’s hard to put out difficult content without making hours long videos. Long videos do not retain audience hence people don’t learn that much from them. I also noticed videos with easier topics gather more attention and I will try to make shorter and to the point videos instead of recording full builds.
Sure Carlos, I’m preparing to record some review videos and that’s my very first custom figure after all. It’s a Figma body with everything else either sculpted or tailored by myself. Spidey logo is red stretchy vinyl cut with a exacto blade 💪🏼💪🏼
@@wilcapoeira Wow, thank you! When I sent this msg I actually just solved my crotch problem lol. However, in finishing the suit I came across other problems. Looking forward to any advice given when I contact you on IG :)
Hey thank you! In case it takes me a long time before I can record that video. I bought a Siser PS Stretch vynil sheet in red. Created the shapes in photoshop, printed them in paper, cut the shape and transferred it to vynil sheet with exacto blade. Then ironed it to my black polyester. Thank you!!
Never thought to use tape for the pattern.... great idea!!!
Great video! Very inspiring, and quite educational. If I may, could I get an PNG or JPG image of the body suit pattern, so I could print it out?
Let me see if I can find a shared drive and upload a scan!
@@wilcapoeira thank you!
@@wilcapoeira hmmm did the scan work?
…?
I guess it didn’t work, thanks anyways, I guess.
Been doing the same thing but on 1:18 scale please keep it up with these vids!
Thank you!

Instead of sewing would flexible fabric glues or iron on adhesive tapes work well?

What is that blue and white pen thing.. is it glue?

That pen seems to be a glue pen? Does it get on your needle?
