it's really easy to get gingers, you simply listen for a faint sparkling noise. if the sound doesn't originate from a mosaic slime, you're near a gilded ginger, and the next thing you have to do is just find it.

It's no problem. I agree. Even with the wiki I had a hard time finding some of them myself. I think that the Glass Desert has the most frustrating areas to navigate when finding treasure pods.

You can get there from the pod containing the master apiary. This pod only contains three gold plorts.
