Your ranch is GORGEOUS! 😍 Totally eye-opening to see what you can do with this game! My own ranches are always haphazard piles of all the ornaments, echoes, and other decor I've collected over a playthrough, lol. I like an organized mess, it makes my ranch feel lived-in and homey to me. But I definitely appreciate all the time and meticulous work that goes into a project like this one, and it turned out so pretty! Hats off to you, both for the decoration and for the helpful tips!

I wish I could have that many decorations in my area but I play on Consol and if I tried it would either crash my game or lag like crazy
you should be fine honestly. slime rancher doesn't run heavy like that

Early game if you’re low on resources and are making a teleporter, I recommend putting one at the entrance to the ruins. It lets you access the ruins, moss blanket, and indigo quarry really easy

Here is a fun idea, place all the Gordos where they were or near where they were before popping. Like the pink Gordos on the Pink gordo and ring Island, the rock gordos, etc.
For an extra challenge, place the gold gordos where they spawn in Rush mode.

Have you considered farming an entire stack of Gilded Ginger? I managed it a while back and it was definitely an experience, I found a chart with every Gilded Ginger spawn location and put a number next to it and tracked each individual location every day + what rates of Gold Slime/Lucky Slime I'd find.
I think I averaged like 1 gold slime every 10 days, and 1 lucky slime every 5-6 days, but I (AFAIK) that's just RNG. Definitely interested in seeing more from you in the future, especially in the decoration realm- in a newer Slime Rancher 2 update coming next year, Slime Science gadgets won't require them to be put in specific zones, you'll be able to freely place them and I know that's gonna be good for teleporter management and gadgets, but the decoration aspect will be insanely good.
That's really neat! I think I might have a stack of gilded gingers in a silo, or at least over 50 of them, lol. Thanks for the news about Slime Rancher 2 btw, I'm looking to get it soon.
@@maetricks Definitely worth it, but if you wanna wait for more content that might be a good idea too. They got lots of stuff lined up but it'll be some time before we get the 'DLC sized' updates.
Bought SR1 when it came out and I am just now getting to it. This video opened up SO MUCH more than I thought the game could be. Awesome job!

My niece is almost 6 years old and she is obsessed with slime rancher because I got her into it. She came over the other day and showed me your video and she LOVES your ranch and is trying really hard to make a ranch as beautiful as yours. I NEVER THOUGHT OF USING ORNAMENTS TO LABEL THE CORRALS BY SLIME TYPE! Usually I labeled em by how they behaved (their tendency to beat the plorts outta me)
"Beat the ports outta me" is hysterical!!! 🤣
I've done some testing and shtick, and found out that you can reach the end of slime rancher with only 2 keys, 5 quantum plorts, and 2800 newbucks. One key for entering the ancient ruins from the moss blanket, and another for accessing the portal to the glass desert. Use the newbucks for stamina and jetpack upgrades. You can skip all other doors.
How do you skip the gate from dry reef to moss blanket and the gate to reach the half end of glass dessert, like you could jetpack over it?
I’ve only just now unlocked the workshop and thought I was getting somewhere, I now see I was wrong 💀

You just made me realize how bad I have wasted my time XD I have 880 days and my ranch looks like a noob compared to yours but I have spent like 80 days looking for gilded gingers

Also if you water fire the fire will go away for a period of time
And If you have mosaic slime they have shards of fire just splash then as well. 😃😃

the trick with the crystal and rad slimes also work with mosaics to get rid of the little rainbow things that damage you
I'm not that far in the game, but I have the same situation with one diet per area and also been avoiding chickens until got the area where they just spawn out of thin air (now got around a hundred of Hen Hens stacked in the silo and three pens with different chickens 😅
I thought I 100% slime rancher but I was wrong, theres so many other things I didnt even know can be collected . I guess I'm going back on Slime Rancher

I used to have a 1000 day world and some of these I still didn't know.
No fricking way there's more to this game than what I thought.
I take the whole thing with habing areas of the same food type to the next level. This may not he too useful if youre very far on in the game like in the video but i have all of my areas with a particular type of largo. Eg one area i might have multiple types of rock largo, another with multiple types of phosphor largo, etc. This means i only need one farm in each area and i can still get extra plorts using a favorite food. Its extra convenient because with two basic drones in each section, i can have one drone delivering food to the corrals and one drone taking plorts to a plort market/refinery link/silo
I usually do this with each secton being a type of largo whos plort is commonly needed for slime science, like rock, tabby, rad, etc.
Alot of people dont realise this but you can also free range your slimes as long as theyre all exactly the same largo and they cant escape the area theyre in. I like to free range quantum slimes since theyre so hard to keep contained, so i have quantum dervish slimes in victor humphries lab area
This is why i quit slime rancher, too many sweats.

Other than speedrunners who sweats about slime rancher it is one of the best relaxing games behind only games like stardew valley

I use gold echoes for a pulse effect. Because gold echoes fluctuate more than others, using gold for yellow makes it more sparkly. Not useful if you just want to make colors.

Hello I also play and I’m stuck in the glass dessert the area I’m stuck in is near where the mosaic slimes spawn and the mosaic Gordon and I don’t know how to get but to the ranch because I also don’t wanna lose my stuff
Hi! If you find the tangle Gordo (he's kinda central to the desert) and feed him till he pops, a teleporter appears there that you can use to get back to your ranch. You can also go back through the big teleporter at the beginning of the glass desert to I back to the ancient ruins. Hope that helps!

hey ! sorry if it's a dummb question but i don't know much about slime rancher even thought i've been playing since a very long time . But how do you get the sun glasses and the wings on your slimes ? your slimes look so fancy and i almost thought it was slime rancher 2 ? is it like a mod or something ? also nice video :)
Hi! The sunglasses and other wearable items come from Fashion Pods which are craftable gadgets that you can place. I have mine placed on Ring Island and Mustache Island. When you have a fashion pod placed it has a little floating bubble with the sunglasses or whichever item it is in it. You use your vac-pack to suck up the little fashion pod bubbles and then when you shoot them out of your vac-pack at slimes, it puts the item on your slimes. You can find the blueprints for Fashion Pods in Treasure Pods hidden around the Range. Hope that helps! 😊

@@ft6006 The secret styles come from the Secret Styles Pack DLC. You have to buy and install the DLC for the style pods to be in the game.

I use to be able to play slime rancher, then I thought of the idea of modding it, I should have made a copy of the game and modded that, that way my main game won't crash or be broken, so yeah I am no longer allowed to play slime rancher for that mistake, but I think I am able to do so rn, but not really feeling up to it
Can you get a party Gordo in a Gordo trap?
Unfortunately, you can't. You can get Pink Gordos of course, but the Party Gordo is a special Gordo that only shows up on the weekends for you to find him and pop him for ornaments. He cannot be caught in a Gordo snare. The Gordo with the party spirit must remain free. ☺️

Hi! That much money just kinda accumulates when you play for so long and have drones selling plorts constantly. Also, the 999+ thing is something that can happen occasionally when drones are putting plorts or things into silos or the refinery. It just goes over 999 sometimes. No idea why.

Just climbing on things to get up high and shooting them into the sky, plus shooting some while jetpacking around.

how do you only have 700 days do you not use the sleep thing or am I just underestimating how many days it takes.
Hi! So I didn't use the sleep mechanic much at first because there is no penalty for just staying awake and not sleeping. I only really sleep when I want to speed something up like drills, echo nets, etc. Or if I want it to be daytime for some reason and I have nothing else I want to do during the night. Also, later into the game it doesn't take as long to do things as it does in early game.

How do you get two use drones?
Hi! You can unlock the blueprint for them by unlocking Victor's lab and going through the "quests" he gives you to go into the slimeulation and gather glitch slimes.
How did you get those costumes on the slimes
Oh! They're curios called fashion pods that you can find blueprints for in treasure pods and make and place in the world. When placed, you can suck up some of the fashion pods in your vacpack and shoot them at your slimes to put them on them. Hope that explains it. ☺️

@@penguin2O Hi! So the drone uses vary, but here's kinda the idea. If you have Single Use drones have one drone do "food ➡️ corral food dispensers" and the other drone do "plorts ➡️ plorts market (or market link)". If you have Dual Use drones, keep each drone doing one of those tasks each, and the others can be more creative like sending a specific port type to the refinery when it gets low like "pink plorts ➡️ refinery", or gathering wild Henhens in the overgrowth like "Henhens (outside plots) ➡️ silo". I hope that helps. ☺️
