@@biennui Sorry but I’m doing it on purpose. In Japan, it’s very common to use 24 hours format but it’s not in some countries. So I add AM/PM anyway to let them know if the video was shot in the morning or not.
Very very beautiful Department store! Wonderful food floor! Every food looks really delicious and beautiful! Thank you very much for sharing your awesome Video! looking forward to enjoying your next one. Have a great day😀👍🙏
Schön viele Torten, Törtchen und Biskuits, Kekse, Schokolade, Schokoladenbarren, Schokoladenriegel und Geschmackvolle Snacks und Mahlzeiten zum genießen. Alles was das Herz begehrt. 💗💗💓💓 Liebe Grüße Emanuela Sayonara.
I've been in many big cities (sadly not yet in Tokyo) but I can say I have never seen that huge amount of - praticularly fresh - food in my life. Looks surreal and aesthetically stunning like pretty much everything from Japan. I do wonder though: what happens with the fresh food if they don't sell these huge amounts in a day, or maybe too? You can't store and sell many things for longer than same day or maybe the next? Do they sell all the fresh stuff in one single day?
I heard they sell mostly everything in one day. But if something is left unsold, Tokyo station employees can purchased them at a big discounted price after the store is closed. I saw it on TV a few years ago and I'm so jealous! 😄
Thank you! This is quite helpful for my trip next month! ❤ I appreciate that you slowed down when looking at the food so we could look too 🤭After you buy food, is there a place to sit and eat it?
Unfortunately there are very few eating spaces available. Besides, the consumption tax changes from 8% to 10% if you eat in those spots when available.
Unfortunately most "Depachikas" don't have a lot of eating spaces. Even if they do, please be careful that the Japanese consumption tax changes from 8% to 10% if you eat there.
Why are so many people still wearing face muzzles, outside in the fresh air? Is there a new covid pandemic in Tokyo, or are they still doing the one that ended two years ago?
The main reason is that the Japanese are too clean, according to relevant statistics, before the pandemic even several decades the whole world produced 9 billion masks every year, 5 billion of which were only used by the Japanese!

Looking at all this amazing food and the sweets has old Wilford Brimley saying his famous line in my head..
Sad that America doesn’t have enough skilled pastry chefs , I would love to have a store like this in my city

B4 covid, Daimaru Shibuya was heaven to me, I was very sad 😢 when renovated to noe tokyu food show.
It's ok but not as AMAZING as Daimaru before.
Why do so many people have suitcases with them?
They are tourists from oversea.

あんなに食べ物が有って、全部売り切れるものだろうか? 沢山残りそうな感じがするが。
Why are so many people still wearing face muzzles, outside in the fresh air? Is there a new covid pandemic in Tokyo, or are they still doing the one that ended two years ago?
It's a flu season now. Since way before the pandemic, we've been wearing a mask not to spread to other people.
This is the social etiquette to put on masks providing you're suffering hay fever and / or showing signs of cold since decades ago.
The main reason is that the Japanese are too clean, according to relevant statistics, before the pandemic even several decades the whole world produced 9 billion masks every year, 5 billion of which were only used by the Japanese!
They can wear masks or not, it's up to them. It's none of your business.
@@ritchiedennis4690 - Madam, I did not ask for your opinion, nor do I require it.
As an Asian, I find that Japanese and Taiwanese desserts or pastries doesn't taste as good as they looked lol
You probably haven’t been to a good bakery 😅.
@@annconrad5120 aww didn’t mean to hurt your feelings lol 😂 I love getting my cakes and pastries from French and Korean bakeries ❤️😋🤤
ha, ha, There was a video of a Korean baker trying Japanese bread and being shocked.
How do they handle the food at the end of the day?🤔
