How nice to hear Cliff tell of Buddy Holly being one of his major influences. Buddy recorded his first huge hit not far from my home town-he was born and raised just across the state line. My older brothers and cousins listened to him a lot when I was a child. He had already passed but was well loved in my neck of the woods. I prefer Cliff's version of True Love Ways even though Buddy wrote it and recorded it first. Cliff has that extra warmth to his voice. Thanks for this. You are the best. 💗🕊
