I appreciate this series so much. They really don't teach up any BIM software at my uni so thank you so much! Just a question, where can I locate the "CI tools"? I can't seem to find them on my interface.
Ci tools (created by Central Innovation) are an add-on provided for the Australian Market and I don't believe they offer them anywhere else. Check with your local distributor to see if there's an equivalent version for your region :)
This is a typical beginner's design mistake: you make the design add-on (API) "dependent". If you switch to Archicad version (yearly thematically), the add-on should follow. This workflow has a lot of disadvantages in the long run. If you need to modify a built building, but there is no add-on for the current Archicad version, you cannot modify it. It is therefore advisable to use basic elements to make the building sustainable in the long term. It is therefore worth using independent object libraries that can be used in any Archicad version. Started with Archicad 6.0, lots of problems with add-ons!:D
More of this please this is great! It’s nice to see you’ve slowed your explanations down instead of going 100km/h 👍
Hey just transitioning from revit to archiCAd and I must say this tutorial series is really well broken down ❤
