Glad you reacted to this version...you really get to a much more raw sound and they were giving it their all! Misty eyed and don't know why...happens a lot to me, and others. For me I think it is that I feel pride in them for overcoming a tough industry and persevering to this day...I am like a proud Grandparent :) (I am 62 these days).
Great reaction. I believe some (I think I read 17) BABYMETAL fans got wind that they would be appearing on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert and managed to get tickets in order that they would be welcomed and given the reception they deserved by at least some of the audience.🦊
I would love to see them come back and do another Colbert appearance as the group they are now. I always thought they should be musical guests on SNL, considering some of the acts that come on SNL I think that they would be a big hit.
Nice one, thanks! Dang! I got emotional for a different reason (I think)... As much I love the current Kami Band (very, very fan of them) I still miss Mikio. RIP Ko-Gami. Yes, it's one of their smallest setups. Their first solo show at the famous Rock-May-Kan in Meguro in 2012 was even smaller but they didn't fit anyone else on stage (no band, no babybones). 🤘🦊
They were totally confused as well as the Moderator. But in fact, I think they establishedca totally new theme in Europe . Not quitecas aggressive and extreme, but metal fusion becsme a narketvof their own, and they are now riding their own wave. But another even more important phenomenon appeared. No one dared to ask any questions, if the guests would have known about Amuse and Sakura Gakuin... they would have thrown the girls of the stage. But especially in Europe there were bigger and juicier meats to slaughter. Europe took over thevUS belief but in fact it was immediatley overtaken by the music industry itself. I zhink this was Saturday night live.

I guess I'm like a father who is happy to see his children grow up.😁
Like you, I get emotional when I see them from that time.
I, like you, don't know why.
Nice one, thanks!

Misty eyed?
No worries as many of us feel like proud brothers or parents and want these young ladies of outstanding character to succeed.
It caught me of guard.
