I think Chester's voice is just better than ever. I don't get why some people say that now he doesn't sing just as well as he did in HT or Meteora.. i mean, really guys, remember those times. In those times, Chaz used to have some issues with the notes while singing live (live shows singing Crawling, for example). I'm not saying he wasn't good then , he was awesome, but now... now he's perfect. I think his voice is mature, his range is bigger. Every year he surprises me :)

Me too man. I've loved LP since highschool. When I had to move in with my grandma for a while in a different state from everything and everyone I knew, I had 3 CDs. Orgy Vapor Transmission, Deftones White Pony, and LP Hybrid Theory. That album got me through some of the hardest times of my whole life- at the time. And when I moved away again to Florida, I had Meteora. It just sux he'll never get a chance to know just how many motherfuckin lives he touched and how many people his lyrics and especially his voice affected. May God rest is soul man. PS I cried like a baby, & so did my wife, who only "knew" him through me

I've heard a whole lot of rockstars and musicians/singers in general and no one's got such a huge range as he does...he's super-versatile and his vocals are spot-on! Of course, he doesn't sound 25 anymore..that's cuz he isn't,he's 37! But he still sounds flawless! Haters gonna hate!

He did. When you make music and you want it right you would have to listen to yourself sing and the other parts like the drums, guitar etc. And you listen to the finished product before you release. That's what Linkin Park did if you've seen LP underground follow them around or the making of Meteora or whenever they are in a studio. They have to listen to it back so they can get what they want:) and they also listened to there own music on there free time too I've seen many videos where he did. And said they did as well. So don't worry he did:)
His last song with Mark Morton clearly proved that he could easily scream like the HT Meteora days, it was just a matter of preference for him and he sang according to the ever evolving styles of LP and to those saying he couldnt nail the notes live try singing like that constantly for a period of 1.5 hr and the number of shows they did in a year he clearly had to reserve his voice for that and put less strain on his vocal chords
