- When you start programming your first part on a Haas robot you'll soon become acquainted with the concept of Tool Frames and User Frames. Respectively these define where the robot's gripper is located relative to the robot arm and how the work envelope is oriented relative to the arm.
Manufacturing Engineer Mallory Tevini walks us through an in-depth tour of how these "frames" work and how to set them up to match your gripper and work table configurations.

Thanks it was well demonstrated. But i guess we should've watch it again and again.
Our company just went full blown automated robotic CNC$ 🤦🏽♂️
But I really enjoyed this tutorial thank you
Great and very informative video :), one question that comes to mind is:
Are you able to switch between User frames in a robot program?
that way i can have an optimised user frame for both the part pickup/drop table and also the machine.
Currently i do not work with a robot but its fairly likely to happen in the future.
Thanks in advance
