Now, why can't videos in 2023 be this creative? Artistically, the visuals perfectly matched the flow, the slo-mo effects, the choice of black and white symbolically...I mean, today's hip-hop can't visually compare to yesteryear's music videos.
I can’t stop thinking about this. First the video is a work of art, how much time did that take? So many different camera shots. And all that had to be edited with old school real film! Not everybody wanted to be a gangsta rapper funny because most of the popular gangsta rappers from this era are dead I wonder why. The fact of the matter is there were ALOT of underground rap artist like this one that never achieved mainstream success and were overshadowed by the big names but some just didn’t want to be commercialized especially with how commercial rap is today where you can’t even say certain words without a bunch of sissies through a hissy fit yet wanna act hard at the same time.
