@@acro35452 Nothing happened. I don’t know what that guys problem is. I’ve seen the scenes - Pav didn’t like the process (they had to do several takes and there was quite a fuss with camera men etc) he clearly wasn’t comfortable. Not as sunny and charming as usually but he wasn’t unpolite or anything. Just not as smiling and full of joy like he was here - and usually with people.

yeah it's just not a good rendition of this song. Just straightforward and emotionless. Yes, it's a funny song but it's most funny when the sadness is overdone.
Pavarotti’s Spirt lives on!! Bravo!!! You have my immense gratitude for giving us so much joy and beauty with your singing. My mother was your biggest fan.
Yes the best, actually have picture taken with him at the Met,but he took up the whole picture,so only my coat shows, taken too close,ha.Saw him many times
In the heart I don't feel in myself anymore The youth brighting; Motive of my torment, Love, you are the fault. You itch me, you mock me, you sting me, you chew me; What is this, ah? Mercy, mercy, mercy! Love is something that, that makes me despair!

Yes - but it seems that the song is actually ironic (didn't know that) so his attitude and facial expressions actually fits the song here perfectly. It explains a lot since his interpretations were always perfect. He always got the real meaning of the works he sang.
My heart has no more feeling; no fire of flaming youth. The cause of my congealing, oh love, is you, in truth. You pinch me and excite me, you prick me and you bite me; what awful things you've done! Have pity, please be fair! Oh, Love is surely one who drives me to despair!

Excellant chant!

I love the way he looks the camera...He transmits a lot of joy...impossible not to smile...

@Euripides Feldman III Agreed. :)
Because he sang with his heart, soul and feelings, since very deep. Thats why amigo mío!

He looks so happy singing that sad song...
I was just going to say the same thing lol
maybe his ex-wife died
it was his approach to the song, maybe he hasn't lost faith in spite of waiting for the loved one to reciprocate
ternitamas the song is not sad, actually. It's sort of ironic, a false complain. The smile fits perfectly.
yeah it's just not a good rendition of this song. Just straightforward and emotionless. Yes, it's a funny song but it's most funny when the sadness is overdone.
This is the first song I had to sing for my first recital in college. I love it so much ❤
Face reaction is perfect 👌🏻

I thought I couldn't adore Pava more! He is joyful and beautiful in this performance!
My favorite freshman aria. I had no idea that he sang this!!

My voice teacher is having me sing this exact song, never loved it so much until now❤️❤️❤️
I learned.. It's a great song.
.or it became grate when pavarott sings

Pavarotti is the best ever. I love him and miss him so much. I love his voice so much. He was the most handsome opera singer there is.
You forget the greatest Corelli!
He is one of the happiest :) but I'd say one of the most handsome is definitely Hadleigh Adams
Yes the best, actually have picture taken with him at the Met,but he took up the whole picture,so only my coat shows, taken too close,ha.Saw him many times
Francisco Araiza is the best than Pavarroti.
Corelli and kraus are the best.
Same here 💔
lol his face at the end :P

Quelle mignonne petite "chanson", et quel grand Homme! Merci, Monsieur Pavarotti!!
He is a gift from a loving god
Luciano Pavarotti, bellissimo tenore voce e alto "Re C".
Meravigliosa interpretazione ❤
Pavarotti was having fun singing this song !!
Such a great man and singer!!
Thank you MarquesEunice, Navarro Lorenzo, Dead tenors society to share with us the best records of the king of the high C's
How could such a happy man sing such a sad song? LOL! By mugging around, that's how! Wish I'd been there.
A tape of the rehearsal for this is posted - brings one closer to seeing what goes into producing this greatness.

alternative title: sad song but it gets happier and happier
the greatest ;)
Perfect!
So good!
How can Paganini make this beautiful music a terror for the concert violinists😆
It is an arietta composed by Passiello. Opera: La Bella Molinara. Beethoven also composed a series of piano variations 😜😜
I am doing a grande étude de paganini on nel cor piu non mi sento.
PAISIELLO! Pls.
Trust me, that piece CAN be beautiful. People think it's just un-musical shredding because so many modern violinists play it so aggressively!
Bravo
