Do you know what is totally amazing to me is, I am not a scholar, I am not highly intelligent, I admit! But as you said I look around my circle of family and friends in total disbelief. There's also the difficulty in parting ways with some sins, like pride, lust or gluttony. It's not easy being a christian, but anything is possible with God.

Agree with all you have said. Once you finish ‘Thy Will be Done’, break open the book “The Book of Heaven”... it’s not a quick read, but worth the effort! This is such a well studied and patient presentation to your naysayers. Thank God and thank you, Professor O'Connor. For people like me, who went WITHOUT Catechism training and Magisterial teaching until the age of 51, I embraced it with my whole heart, because it made life finally make sense. To live without that for so long, made me love it so much. Like the "pearl of great price" that Jesus likens Truth to. Some of the points you argued made me wonder if any of them were ever properly Catechized. I was fortunate because as recently as 10 years ago, I received the Baltimore Catechism teaching from an Institute of Christ The King Canon. When Greer in his documentary "Close Encounters of the Fifth Kind" said how they were telepathically communicating with the aliens and getting the lights to move in synch with their thoughts, that pretty much cinched it for me that he is dealing with demons. It was also consistent with Whitley Streiber's book "Communion", where I also concluded that he was dealing with demons.
Read Streibers books years ago and listened to Stephen Greer and was in to all things about aliens but Our Lady took me away from all that and reiki healing.Pray the Rosary a powerful weapon.🙏
Whitley Steiber's book "Communion" gave me the creeps. At the end where he talked about the eyes looking back at him, gave me a really evil vibe. As for Greer, he's the one who gives me the creeps and that tells me everything I need to know. Same goes for Corey Goode. Those people are playing with demons and aren't even aware of it. I know a woman who claims she's been abducted and visited by Greys since she was 8 years old. Even as an adult she always seems to come into contact with "haunted" homes, or other people who have evil things going on around them. Imo anything that feels bad, probably is.

I started the Catechism in a Year with Fr. Mike Schmitz. I finished the Bible in a Year with his podcast and learned so much about salvation history. The truth of God doesn't change. Science has excluded God and contains much human pride. Thank you for this video. I has made me use all that I have learned from Bible in a Year to know you are correct in your assertions because it is based on the Bible. Thank you for your work.
Thank you very much Daniel for your good work on those subjects it really bring clarity. Hope you'll be addressing more in depth the historicity of Adam and Eve, the literal creation and young earth. It seems to be the hardest thing to defend in front of atheists/agnostics and some catholics.
One thing that occurred to me about any alien narrative is that we probably won’t question his patrimony. I mean that we would scrutinize the origin of any human presented as “special” and “worthy of praise.” Where did he come from? Who are his parents? Etc, etc. we would gloss right over this basic process of scrutiny because of his novelty and strange nature. That could be a huge problem for many.

Hey Daniel, I'm here to admit I was wrong. I was part of that small percentage who believed that on "Earth" meant just our planet alone. But you brought up the "Our Father" prayer which says "Earth" where I believe that means every planet in our visible universe. I never connected the 2 so thank you for that explanation. So now I believe aliens can only be fallen angles which I'm assuming is correct right?
Had a dream last night was with some people sitting on a porch and bright lights started flickering in the sky. It was daylight. And then all of a sudden a huge craft just started materializing from a cloudy mist coming into view with all sorts of lights appearing taking up the whole sky and was preparing to land. I went immediately for my epiphany water. And to try and warn people. I knew whatever it was the great deception or demons in disguise, the world would never be the same, not for a while. It was the worst feeling. Ive had this dream before but the craft was different, same feeling though, like the world as we new was over. The worst part of biblical prophecy was about to take place. Everything we knew up to this point would change and we had to flee. To where I dont know but we had to go.
I do believe the world as we have known it is changing and we need to prepare for the great deception. I pray I will never be deceived be the devil’s tricks. I am so grateful to now be a Catholic after living most of my life as a Protestant.
There is the technology already, which can make things appear and look as though it is reality. There will NOT be huge space ships, there will be virtual reality space ships.

Is it just me or am I the only who feels like they can hear a heart beat on this vid?? On another note having listened to the whole thing, I'm so glad you mentioned the "apparent St Pio quote". I've had a devotion to him since I was a child and he's my confirmation name. When I first heard what he apparently said I honestly thought it was utter rubbish. Knowing him, not just his spiritual depths but also his personality it makes no sense for him to say that. And if even if he did say that, let's not forget he had a temper and also a strong sense of sarcasm so even the word "earthlings" sounds like he's loathing the very question he's being asking (Saints grew wearied of stupid questions). But I think it also important to remember that not every miracle and encounter can be accounted for to be true. Many can just as easily fake these interviews. There are moments when people asked St Pio about certain things (I think it was the Three Days of Darkness) and whether he said anything since there were claims he had, he responded that he said nothing of the kind.
This seems to raise a separate and even more important issue. How much dissent is permissible from Catholic teaching, and a person still remain a Catholic in good standing? A well-formed conscience, which necessitates the active use of one's mind to love God and to discern the truth, is essential for every Catholic. But at what point does Church teaching become binding on the conscience of a Catholic, so that dissent becomes tantamount to denying the faith? I think there needs to be competent discussion on this matter.

Daniel, you have a good heart. I have watched you through Countdown To The Kingdom, and you are very careful not to speak of ill of others, always giving them the benefit of the doubt, so as not to be in error, taking very seriously what the church teaches. I commend you for that. You have the fruit of humility in abundance. I have not watched this video, yet. I did watch the last one. That said, multiple truths can and do exist. The catechism states that only humans were made to love and serve God. I will not dispute that. However, that does not mean that the "aliens" are made to love and serve God. Quite the contrary. They are of the demonic, and that does not mean that they can not exist. In other words, the catechism can be correct, and at the same time, these creatures can exist. I think that the great deception is not that aliens exist, but rather that these are benevolent beings who we should HONOR as God's creations.
Aliens, or sentient creatures created by God, that live on other planets, do not exist. Any creature that depicts itself as an alien is a demon, or fallen angel. They will appear to be aliens, but they are really demons.

The heresy you mentioned is not about believing in universe's infinity - there's nothing wrong with that, it could be also a way to express that God is everywhere and since He's infinite, His presence fills an infinite space - but rather, the association between God and the universe itself which is ultimately identifying God with Nature (Pantheism). Giordano Bruno did that and was not condemned just for that. He also believed that the universe was eternal just like God. Such affirmation goes directly against the Holy Scriptures. What do you think?

By challenging the orgin of that theory. It ALWAYS leads back to a source who's identity and agenda can not be verified, most commonly someone who believes they channeled it from the aliens. IF aliens were to be anything more than fallen angels then they would have bodies and not need to channel the information to someone.

That particular part of the catechism regarding multi origins, was, as I recall, originally meant to address a notion about the mystery of Cain’s wife and her village: where did they come from? The assertion behind that passage of the catechism is that HOWEVER they came about, they WERE kin to Cain. Perhaps he wandered alone long enough for some of his other siblings to develop different villages? Genesis doesn’t say precisely how long he wandered, so that is open for speculation without contradicting scripture.
Can you do a video on the Catholic view on the Nephilim beings from the Old Testament? There is a popular Protestant view that they were offspring of half human half fallen angels. What is the Church teaching on them? How might this tie with modern alien belief?

In defense of Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerick (as I've read quite a bit on her), Brentano, the man of wrote down her visions is actually of great trust compared to how he is often badly depicted. He was a humble and faithful catholic (had a deep conversion), he left the highly regarded poetry circles and the cities to go in the middle of nowhere with peasants and poor people, to record Anne Catherine's visions.. The fact that he specifically says it when Emmerick is not sure or does not clearly remember the visions is in his favor. And I should add that Jesus told the Blessed that her visions would be a treasure for the world and (if I remember well) that He chose Brentano for the work. Then also, a French priest of the XIXth c discovered unknown places precisely accurate with the visions of Emmerick, in the holy land. He is the one who discovered the house of Mary in Ephesus with her visions. Confirming that she really saw and knew places and events in the past. On the moon part, I wrestled a bit with it but it seems Anne Catherine is describing some vegetation in the cavities and caves of the moon.. It's of course extremely anecdotical, but to my knowledge, we only know what's on the moon's surface. And yes, she never speaks of aliens.
Daniel, have you read the wonderful "sci-fi" novel by Michael D. O'Brien, Voyage to Alpha Centauri? The idea is that a bunch of humans blasted off to another world a some point, just prior to the Flood, and because of their advanced technology, and some help from the fallen angels, they get to another planet. A modern spaceship goes out to explore the galaxy, and reconnects with them, and it's a great story. Very Catholic, and agrees with all of your premises. I do mean all of them.
I read it too! Not my favorite of his books, but I’m no sci-fi fan either. I loved Island of the World, A Father’s Tale, and Eclipse of the Sun the most.

Father Pio rarely gave out his opinion and then mostly under obedience. Did you not say you often visited that Church MIC in Stockbridge MA, Father Chris Alar is the Director there?

I just can't forget the grief Galileo he went through because he stated the earth moved around the sun. And Giordano Bruno who believed in other worlds or galaxies with their own suns. I, having made the argument for footnotes (telling people to consult them), because that they may have weightier teachings they point to, but then it struck me... Didn't a pope promulgate the Catechism in some document, therefore making this Catechism part of the Magisterium. Thanks for pointing that out. In fact that quote of the St Pope John Paul II is striking and people studying the Magisterium should take careful note of his words about the Catechism. We are not some gnostic religion. We don't have a paralyzed magisterium. The Catechism is for everyone.

This is such a well studied and patient presentation to your naysayers. Thank God and thank you, Professor O'Connor. For people like me, who went WITHOUT Catechism training and Magisterial teaching until the age of 51, I embraced it with my whole heart, because it made life finally make sense. To live without that for so long, made me love it so much. Like the "pearl of great price" that Jesus likens Truth to. Some of the points you argued made me wonder if any of them were ever properly Catechized. I was fortunate because as recently as 10 years ago, I received the Baltimore Catechism teaching from an Institute of Christ The King Canon. I am forever grateful for that, and for your generosity of spirit.

When Greer in his documentary "Close Encounters of the Fifth Kind" said how they were telepathically communicating with the aliens and getting the lights to move in synch with their thoughts, that pretty much cinched it for me that he is dealing with demons. It was also consistent with Whitley Streiber's book "Communion", where I also concluded that he was dealing with demons.
Read Streibers books years ago and listened to Stephen Greer and was in to all things about aliens but Our Lady took me away from all that and reiki healing.Pray the Rosary a powerful weapon.🙏
Whitley Steiber's book "Communion" gave me the creeps. At the end where he talked about the eyes looking back at him, gave me a really evil vibe. As for Greer, he's the one who gives me the creeps and that tells me everything I need to know. Same goes for Corey Goode. Those people are playing with demons and aren't even aware of it. I know a woman who claims she's been abducted and visited by Greys since she was 8 years old. Even as an adult she always seems to come into contact with "haunted" homes, or other people who have evil things going on around them. Imo anything that feels bad, probably is.

One thing that occurred to me about any alien narrative is that we probably won’t question his patrimony. I mean that we would scrutinize the origin of any human presented as “special” and “worthy of praise.” Where did he come from? Who are his parents? Etc, etc. we would gloss right over this basic process of scrutiny because of his novelty and strange nature. That could be a huge problem for many.

Hey Daniel, I'm here to admit I was wrong. I was part of that small percentage who believed that on "Earth" meant just our planet alone. But you brought up the "Our Father" prayer which says "Earth" where I believe that means every planet in our visible universe. I never connected the 2 so thank you for that explanation. So now I believe aliens can only be fallen angles which I'm assuming is correct right?
The tv show “Visitors,” has huge space ships arrive. They hover over the earth. They tell us what they are going to do, in movies.
Had a dream last night was with some people sitting on a porch and bright lights started flickering in the sky. It was daylight. And then all of a sudden a huge craft just started materializing from a cloudy mist coming into view with all sorts of lights appearing taking up the whole sky and was preparing to land.
I went immediately for my epiphany water. And to try and warn people. I knew whatever it was the great deception or demons in disguise, the world would never be the same, not for a while.
It was the worst feeling.
Ive had this dream before but the craft was different, same feeling though, like the world as we new was over. The worst part of biblical prophecy was about to take place.
Everything we knew up to this point would change and we had to flee. To where I dont know but we had to go.
I do believe the world as we have known it is changing and we need to prepare for the great deception. I pray I will never be deceived be the devil’s tricks. I am so grateful to now be a Catholic after living most of my life as a Protestant.
There is the technology already, which can make things appear and look as though it is reality. There will NOT be huge space ships, there will be virtual reality space ships.

On another note having listened to the whole thing, I'm so glad you mentioned the "apparent St Pio quote". I've had a devotion to him since I was a child and he's my confirmation name. When I first heard what he apparently said I honestly thought it was utter rubbish. Knowing him, not just his spiritual depths but also his personality it makes no sense for him to say that. And if even if he did say that, let's not forget he had a temper and also a strong sense of sarcasm so even the word "earthlings" sounds like he's loathing the very question he's being asking (Saints grew wearied of stupid questions). But I think it also important to remember that not every miracle and encounter can be accounted for to be true. Many can just as easily fake these interviews. There are moments when people asked St Pio about certain things (I think it was the Three Days of Darkness) and whether he said anything since there were claims he had, he responded that he said nothing of the kind.

This seems to raise a separate and even more important issue. How much dissent is permissible from Catholic teaching, and a person still remain a Catholic in good standing?
A well-formed conscience, which necessitates the active use of one's mind to love God and to discern the truth, is essential for every Catholic. But at what point does Church teaching become binding on the conscience of a Catholic, so that dissent becomes tantamount to denying the faith?
I think there needs to be competent discussion on this matter.

I have watched you through Countdown To The Kingdom, and you are very careful not to speak of ill of others, always giving them the benefit of the doubt, so as not to be in error, taking very seriously what the church teaches. I commend you for that. You have the fruit of humility in abundance. I have not watched this video, yet. I did watch the last one. That said, multiple truths can and do exist. The catechism states that only humans were made to love and serve God. I will not dispute that. However, that does not mean that the "aliens" are made to love and serve God. Quite the contrary. They are of the demonic, and that does not mean that they can not exist. In other words, the catechism can be correct, and at the same time, these creatures can exist. I think that the great deception is not that aliens exist, but rather that these are benevolent beings who we should HONOR as God's creations.
Aliens, or sentient creatures created by God, that live on other planets, do not exist. Any creature that depicts itself as an alien is a demon, or fallen angel. They will appear to be aliens, but they are really demons.

The heresy you mentioned is not about believing in universe's infinity - there's nothing wrong with that, it could be also a way to express that God is everywhere and since He's infinite, His presence fills an infinite space - but rather, the association between God and the universe itself which is ultimately identifying God with Nature (Pantheism). Giordano Bruno did that and was not condemned just for that. He also believed that the universe was eternal just like God. Such affirmation goes directly against the Holy Scriptures. By challenging the orgin of that theory. It ALWAYS leads back to a source who's identity and agenda can not be verified, most commonly someone who believes they channeled it from the aliens. IF aliens were to be anything more than fallen angels then they would have bodies and not need to channel the information to someone.

That particular part of the catechism regarding multi origins, was, as I recall, originally meant to address a notion about the mystery of Cain’s wife and her village: where did they come from? The assertion behind that passage of the catechism is that HOWEVER they came about, they WERE kin to Cain. Perhaps he wandered alone long enough for some of his other siblings to develop different villages? Genesis doesn’t say precisely how long he wandered, so that is open for speculation without contradicting scripture.

In defense of Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerick (as I've read quite a bit on her), Brentano, the man of wrote down her visions is actually of great trust compared to how he is often badly depicted. He was a humble and faithful catholic (had a deep conversion), he left the highly regarded poetry circles and the cities to go in the middle of nowhere with peasants and poor people, to record Anne Catherine's visions.. The fact that he specifically says it when Emmerick is not sure or does not clearly remember the visions is in his favor. And I should add that Jesus told the Blessed that her visions would be a treasure for the world and (if I remember well) that He chose Brentano for the work.
Then also, a French priest of the XIXth c discovered unknown places precisely accurate with the visions of Emmerick, in the holy land. He is the one who discovered the house of Mary in Ephesus with her visions. Confirming that she really saw and knew places and events in the past.
On the moon part, I wrestled a bit with it but it seems Anne Catherine is describing some vegetation in the cavities and caves of the moon.. It's of course extremely anecdotical, but to my knowledge, we only know what's on the moon's surface.
And yes, she never speaks of aliens.
Daniel, have you read the wonderful "sci-fi" novel by Michael D. O'Brien, Voyage to Alpha Centauri? The idea is that a bunch of humans blasted off to another world a some point, just prior to the Flood, and because of their advanced technology, and some help from the fallen angels, they get to another planet. A modern spaceship goes out to explore the galaxy, and reconnects with them, and it's a great story. Very Catholic, and agrees with all of your premises. I do mean all of them.
I read it too! Not my favorite of his books, but I’m no sci-fi fan either. I loved Island of the World, A Father’s Tale, and Eclipse of the Sun the most.
If you look into NASA and all the lies we have been told it will quickly become apparent that if you can just see one so called mainstream accepted truth unravel, then they all do when you ask The Lord to show you,there are some great little channels on you tube that show the hilarious hoax the moon landing was with original footage and honestly you will cringe at how deceived we have been, the very funny mistakes made by so call astronauts on so called space stations, the lie about satellites and what they are,the dispelling of earth curvature, it's all CGI and technology, as long as we look into their black mirror box on the wall or in our hand we can be sold anything.

Father Pio rarely gave out his opinion and then mostly under obedience. I can assure anyone interested in his life that he had far more to say about the souls in Purgatory then the one’s in outer space. If they had their way he be the patron saint of Area 51.

I, having made the argument for footnotes (telling people to consult them), because that they may have weightier teachings they point to, but then it struck me... Didn't a pope promulgate the Catechism in some document, therefore making this Catechism part of the Magisterium. Thanks for pointing that out. In fact that quote of the St Pope John Paul II is striking and people studying the Magisterium should take careful note of his words about the Catechism. We are not some gnostic religion. We don't have a paralyzed magisterium. The Catechism is for everyone.
