- Delhi Food Walks went on a street food tour covering some of the lesser known street delicacies in Jodhpur. In Jodhpur, I was joined by Dr Navneet, Asst. Professor by profession and food enthusiast by passion. He took us on a full-on street food tour in the old town of Jodhpur.
We tried some of the lesser known dishes of Jodhpur like malai ki roti, kabuli, gulabjamun ki sabzi, mishri goonja etc. Watch this video till end to experience the street food of Jodhpur with Delhi Food Walks.

Really very beautiful food tour in Jodhpur we live in Karachi, Pakistan. We sevral time visited in Jodhpur but not see all the beauty of food but you work excellent to introduce another delicious face of Jodhpur.

I love the flavours of Rajasthan. Proud to be Rajasthani . The water of kanji wada, i.e. the kanji is kept for fermentation for few hours and then the wada is added. Kanji also helps in digestion process.
Jodhpur is the dessert capital of India, completely unique culinary tradition!
Really appreciate your Hindi.. not saying its bad to vlog in English.. but Hindi has a Indian touch
So many people here are complaining about sharing the food from same plate..but I feel it's ok to share food as it avoids wastage and if he has no problem with that then why anyone else has.. this man is quite humble and I like the way he offers the food from his plate to his companion..😄🙂
Ok, there you go. I just replied to another comment which was suggesting the same. In fact, its good to see that you respect food and don't waste it. And also that you didn't treat your guest as a typical guest but more like a friend. That's what we Indians are known for, aren't we?
I agree with u but they can order one plate and eat it in a different plate I don’t think so shopkeeper will say no for extra serving plate .i m your subscriber and I like your videos just telling you it really look so bad as a viewer,u have to accept as a positive approach,continue your good work

I'm big fan of your channel and watched almost every episodes and also its helped me a lot whenever I've visited a new city.
Only one suggestion from my side, since you're watched by millions of people in this case you must take care of hygiene in terms of tasting any food. e.g. Kachori & Malpua (from Narayan's Shop) is served in the newspaper which is very harmful for the health.
Please do take care next time and keep with you some paper bowls/plates if it is not with the shopkeepers. Its look ugly and very unhealthy.

I lived in Jodhpur for 6 years in my adolsence, I did my Matric from there. I love Jodhpur and every thing about it though it has changed a lot. I could only recognise the ghanta ghar area.

Please make some awareness sessions to the shop keeper to not to use news paper to serve food. The ink used in the news paper is not good for human health. At least they can use plain brown non printed card board kind paper or plain white paper plates.
Do you know how contaminated milk products are? Full of hormones pesticides, antibiotics etc..how forms it matter on what it is served?

Pls bring the awareness to the street vendors not to use news paper or inform the govt to bring an order. We the OIC like to watch & know our traditional & favourite foods of India, but disgusting to see its been served in newspaper. Its so harmful to health. I guess its a cultural habit needs reforms.

Just for the heads up in this video 3.30 minutes when you were eating kachori, the store person used newspaper to serve you a kachori. And the malpuva was literally soaked in the newspaper and ghee. You can let people know in your next eating destination about not to use direct newspaper as a serving dish to spread awareness as the newspaper is having itself poisonous ink while printing to keep the rats and mouse away.☻☻☻

Calling Kabuli a Pulao is injustice to both! It does trace its origin to Kabul. It is cooked like a Biryani but strictly vegetarian. Big fried bread pieces is an unique ingredient of this delicacy. It is layered . Rice and other ingredients are cooked separately and then layered before giving a final "Dum". Finally saffron is sprinkled. Fellow presenter from Jodhpur could not do justice to Kabuli. Infact any true blue jodhpuri would feel offended at Kabuli being called like any other pulao.

N in rajasthan specially in my jodhpur, it's a tradition that food is eaten with guests in the same thali and with hands instead of spoon for the feeling of brotherly hood and as a mark of humble gesture n as a mark of equality.....😇
